What's the device you're trying to remove? Is it battery or a/c powered?

Have you tried a  controller reboot

Have you tried removing/exluding the device rather than just the node

Did you try rebooting ISY

not sure what the difference is - this is what the devices look like

i think this one was added twice - and i might have a battery problem - it should be fully charged but i powered it with the charging device and it might be responding - it might be that i included it with it plugged in and it is not seen as a battery powered device

lemme look at x-ray

Is the motor working correctly?

If you only have one motor and it's showing up twice, then try a reboot. If the reboot doesn't correct it then delete the duplicate motor entry.

using the motor control node

the device stopped responding so i was replacing it - worked fine for a week - then nothing - no responding at all - so i was going to replace it - after removing the failed node

First plug the battery charger into the motor, then in the zwave menu click on remove a zwave device and then put the motor into the linking mode.

I'm assuming that your controller is a eisy/polisy and you're using the Zmatter dongle

oh - yes - i tried that - no response

i am using the eisy with whatever radio it uses for z-wave - i do NOT have 'zmatter'' enabled (whatever that is)

i do have z-wave enabled

tried exclude device with it plugged in - it excluded

might be the battery - i'll replace it

I had that happen with one of my motors, the self contained battery failed and I had to replace the entire motor.

Glad you were able to exclude it.  Is the battery removable or do you have to replace the entire motor.
