UD Mobile and Apple CarPlay

Not being technical and not being a developer I have no idea what would be involved in this request.

With that said is Apple CarPlay something that is on the future roadmap for the UD Mobile application?

If not, I’d like to throw it in for consideration.  I could see having a few buttons for devices on my dashboard would be very convenient.

We do hope to implement this at some point,  however it is currently not high on our priority list.

While I have not looked into Apple CarPlay specifically, we did implement Android Auto.  However the Android App was rejected by Google as Home Automation was not an approved use of the Android Auto APIs.

I use Echo Auto to control home devices while I'm driving.  It's also a great way to get updates from your automation system, for example Alexa can say "You left the garage door open"
