CJVann Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I've tried repeatedly to factory reset my EISY with the 10-presses of the power button. I hooked it up to a monitor, and I can see that the 10-button presses does nothing at all. It just sits at the Login prompt. Any advice? I purchased a new home and need to blow away all configuration and devices from the old house. I also tried the old ISY procedure by holding the back reset button in with a pin for >30 seconds. That turned the button red and wouldn't turn back on again until I unplugged it. After it boots back up, it still remembers the old username/password and all devices are still present.
DennisC Posted October 2 Posted October 2 How long are you holding the power button for while doing the 10 presses? Try varying the hold time as well as the time between presses. It is possible you are waiting too long between presses.
CJVann Posted October 2 Author Posted October 2 Hi Dennis, I tried all kinds of variations from super fast to once per second, to even holding each press for one second. Other button press combinations worked, but no factory reset. A.I. said the EISY must first be turned off before doing the 10-presses, so I even tried that a couple of times. I also threw in several reboots between attempts. Appreciate the suggestion!

CJVann Posted October 2 Author Posted October 2 I agree... it doesn't seem to respond to any button presses any more, it's not even doing a reboot. Thanks all!
