Eisy infinite loop

I'm in the middle of a trouble ticket, but it's on pause because of the weekend. In the meantime, I'm wondering if anyone has some insight regarding this problem.

I recently migrated from ISY to eisy. All was going well. Only glitch was I had was to make eisy rediscover the battery-operated ZW devices and fix the programs involved.

Eisy is now on an infinite "System Busy" loop. I think it started after I used "Upgrade Packages." At the advice given through the trouble ticket,  I tried to power cycle, restore with an earlier backup, remove any plug-ins and look for programs that are in a loop. I cleared the Java cache. Nothing works, and now I can't load any programs, either.  I'm attaching some photos.

Thanks for any hints.

Bob

this happened to me - the isy process kept restarting in a loop.... Only way I was able to stop it was by disabling ZigBee.

I removed the ZW/Zigbee dongle. I don't get the infinite "System Busy" loop message, but now I get other popup errors and the system keeps rebooting itself.

Yes, this problem seems to have started when I performed an update. I did mention this UD support. Maybe a doctor should listen to his patient.....

Anyway, is there way to roll this back?

Thanks for helping to make the likely connection

I had a similar loop problem.  To attempt a fix, I unplugged the eisy and PLM from 110v, then - in order - plugged the eisy into 110v and then (20 seconds later) did the same for the PLM.  The program was still in a loop.  So, for no reason at all, I decided to add an Insteon device and see what would happen.  For some reason, that immediately stopped the loop.  Didn't actually add the device and don't know why this stopped the loop...

Oh, the program also advised me to upgrade to 5.8.4.1.  That's another story and it created issues.

The rising body count indicates that this is a pretty fundamental issue, and should (I said should...) bring a quick fix.

@Guy Lavoie, @BobM99, @Techman, @Pmool, @joepoway, @Geddy, @TheA2Z, et al -- Michel responded to my ticket last night (at roughly 10:00 pm Pacific), and the fix worked, so I'm back in business.  According to the log, it appears that there was an update to the ISY 5.8.4_1 software.

Please reboot using the following method:

1. Press/hold power button -> red

2. Click again -> blue
