November 23, 2024Nov 23 oops...I spoke too soon. I had not disabled by program that does a rediscover when a disconnect occurs. Just did test again and this time no automatic reconnect occurred. Still need to do a rediscover
September 12Sep 12 Is there anything further on this? Every time there is any hiccup in my network Blue Iris disconnects (despite saying "connected"). It seems that people are saying using the "re-discover" button will fix it. Do I need to just have a program that runs every hour triggering a "re-discover"?
November 14Nov 14 @bpwwer I am still having issues with every time blue iris server restarts or otherwise goes down and then comes back online, the node server looses its connection and I have to manually restart it. I am not clear on if this has a programmatic solution or how to manage it.
November 15Nov 15 This is how I handle it:If 'Blue Iris' Server Status is Disconnected Or 'Blue Iris' Server Status is Red Then Send Notification to 'Gary' content 'Blue Iris Disconnected' Wait 1 minute Set 'Blue Iris' Re-Discover Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Followed by a second program:If 'Blue Iris' Server Status is Green Then Wait 1 minute Send Notification to 'Gary' content 'Blue Iris Node Server Reconnected' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')
