andrewherman Posted January 26 Posted January 26 (edited) So, have not touched my EISY in maybe 6 or 10 months. Logged in and suggested upgrade. All went OK, however my interface to Ring is no longer working. Deleted and reinstalled in Polyglot, but not showing in EISY interface or dashboard. Also notification controller is showing as disconnected. I have tried restarting PG3. Please note that my connection to Alexa is working fine. Been a while since I have worked in this system. Maybe I shouldn't have updated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. Edited January 26 by andrewherman Quote
paulbates Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I'd suggest going into the plug-in and logging back into ring. Quote

Check the wiki for the link to upgrade. Actually, after checking, I'm on pg3x. I have re-authenticated, but node still says disconnected. Ring is also not loading into the eisy. It appears that I'm not "talking" to ring. Connection to Alexa is working find. All was OK till today's upgrade. Thanks. Edited January 27 by andrewherman Quote
Geddy Posted January 27 Posted January 27 @andrewherman please let us know what version firmware and UI is showing in admin console help -> about. Please give actual version numbers (make sure they match). Also let us know what version of PG3x you’re running. be sure that you have closed admin console and relaunched it (plugin nodes only load on launch so if you kept admin console open while manipulating in PG3x it hasn’t updated correctly. Log into the UD Portal and confirm PG3 remote connection is active. Select Tools -> PG3 -> Remote Connection Last thing….do you happen to remember what version firmware or PG3x you were running before the update? I forget when the process to reinstall plugins needed to run, but that might be something if it was “really” old version. It might be best if you open a support ticket with UD to get specific help if you don’t get this resolved by the reboots or reinstalling the plugins as you described to have done. https://www.universal-devices.com/my-tickets Quote
DennisC Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Have you checked the plugins configuration tab to ensure all required fields are complete? Try changing log to debug and restarted the plugin. After it starts, check log for errors. Quote
andrewherman Posted January 28 Author Posted January 28 On my PG3x dashboard, it shows ring as disconnected. Does this mean disconnected from Ring or from the eisy? According to my ring account, ISY home automation access has been granted. Version 1.2.1. In eisy, tried opening plugin, install all nodes for ring, and nothing happens. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Quote

You’ve done everything us users would usually suggest so now you need to get help directly from UD. Please post back how this is resolved to help us and others. Quote
