737simguy Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM Posted Thursday at 06:39 PM (edited) UD Mobile iOS update finally released, but, um, see pic. I’m hanging on for the ride! Wheeee! Edited Thursday at 06:42 PM by 737simguy Quote
Geddy Posted Thursday at 10:51 PM Posted Thursday at 10:51 PM @737simguy Looks like you've already updated to 5.9.1. Make sure you've run a sync on the app. Moving this to the UD mobile area since it seems to be an issue with UD Mobile alerting you about an update. Quote
737simguy Posted Thursday at 11:07 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:07 PM Yes, I am on 5.9.1 and it wants me to update to 5.8.4. I’m sure it’s just a simple bug, just struck me as humorous Quote
Javi Posted Friday at 12:50 AM Posted Friday at 12:50 AM The notification is generated from the box itself, so there is an update. The app does not know the version, it pulls the version from a server, but looks like server was not updated with the current new version. Quote
737simguy Posted Friday at 01:13 AM Author Posted Friday at 01:13 AM Makes sense. Thank you for the explanation. You guys rock! Quote
bobbob21 Posted Friday at 01:06 PM Posted Friday at 01:06 PM Even though I am already on firmware 5.9.1, I get the same notification. it appears both in UD Mobile and the Administrative console. Just an FYI. Quote
737simguy Posted Friday at 02:40 PM Author Posted Friday at 02:40 PM I went ahead and did the “Update Packages” from within the Admin Console and it did update something, now all looks normal again and still on 5.9.1. I also did a sync in the UD Mobile after the update. It shows an error as in the attached pic but everything seems to work fine. I have no Matter devices yet. Quote
Geddy Posted Friday at 08:12 PM Posted Friday at 08:12 PM @737simguy interesting that it had another update to process. Not sure about this error. What do you see when you go to this page: https://eisy.local:8443/WEB/pkg.upgrade.htm (maybe use the eisy IP address if it doesn't resolve. If it gives you an alert/warning about it not being safe click to proceed since it's a local device it's okay to proceed.) Looking for results: "No packages need upgrading." In admin console is the Matter option "ON"? If you don't have any Matter devices leave it "OFF". Then run a sync again see if you get any errors. Be sure to fully close the app while you're working in Admin Console then reload the app. What app version are you running? Quote

The UDM Synch error is fixed in the next app update. It can be ignored until that time as it is only stating there are no matter devices. Quote

Okay I went to that page using the IP address and got the "No packages need upgrading" return. App version is 1.2.2 All good here. Thanks for the response! 1 Quote
