tibbar Posted Monday at 01:20 AM Posted Monday at 01:20 AM This morning my EISY went offline and appears to be dead. Here is a pic on HDMI monitor connected to it. Can anyone give any pointers please. No IP address, no matter I do. Quote
Guy Lavoie Posted Monday at 01:27 AM Posted Monday at 01:27 AM Have you tried simple things, like reseating your network cable? A different port on your router? Or a different cable? Quote

Guy Lavoie Posted Monday at 01:38 AM Posted Monday at 01:38 AM Did an update occur? What version of IoX were you running yesterday? the first screen shows something about not starting "since we just upgraded". Have you tried the start button options? https://wiki.universal-devices.com/Eisy:User_Guide#Multi_Function_Button You could try the 4 time button press to reset networking. Whatever you do, don't do a factory reset, at least not before you've opened a ticket with UDI to try and recover it first. Quote

Didn't try updating myself. Multi function button does not respond. Tried 4,5 and 6 presses , no effect. The router shows port connected, some traffic exchanged but no IP. Quote

Harrisrc740 Posted yesterday at 01:00 AM Posted yesterday at 01:00 AM Same issue I am having, I purchased a new EISY and the same issue after it took updates. I found that it is only taking a ipv6 address. Was able to ssh to that address and add a static ip so I could connect and configure, but once the EISY rebooted it lost all my configurations. I think there was a update to FreeBSD that is making it use ipv6. Quote
Guy Lavoie Posted yesterday at 01:09 AM Posted yesterday at 01:09 AM Well it at least enables IPv6, because it's needed for Matter. But always has an IPv4 address too. Quote
Solution tibbar Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM Author Solution Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM After submitting a ticket @Michel Kohanim fixed it. Don't know what happened but it looked like there was some kind of update. Anyway up running now thanks to outstanding support from UDI. Thanks @Michel Kohanim. 2 Quote
