smarthome_newbie Posted Wednesday at 11:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:21 PM Hi. If I click on the launcher, my ISY shows, but when I select "Admin Console LAN" it won't open. It will load cloud but none of my prorgrams are loading. I deleted Java cache (all 3 boxes checked), deleted existing launcher and downloaded again, but still not working. Any ideas? I have a Mac. Thanks! Quote
paulbates Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM Posted yesterday at 01:04 AM There's several possibilities: ISY needs a reboot I'd suggest unplugging the isy, waiting 10 seconds and replugging. Wait a few minutes and try to access it again If that doesn't work, it might be the SD Card is bad. Try one, and if that doesn't work, reply back and we'll go from there Quote
Techman Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM @smarthome_newbie In addition to what @paulbates is suggesting....... Did you download the launcher from here: https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp Also take a look at this link Upgraded to Mac OS15.2. I didn't realize it has an SD card. I'm on version 5.0.15A. I have a Polisy and need to move over to it, but the instructions seem complicated, so I still haven't done it yet. If I could get back into admin console for now, that would be great. I downloaded the launcher from the link Techman sent and I don't have the new Mac OS, so that's not the problem. Thank you! Quote
paulbates Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Take a read through this thread. Start with cleaning and reseating the sd card. If it works and you're not going to migrate to polisy for a while, consider the steps to replace the card. Quote

My programming is simple. What would be the process of moving to the hub? Also, I noticed someone say since ISY can be accessed from the cloud then the issue is probably with the IoX Launcher. I can access from the cloud. You still think it could be a SD card issue? Thanks! Quote

That's accessing the Admin Console program from the cloud, downloading it. If this is the case, then it could still be a SD card issue, that's preventing you from loading the Admin console program from your ISY controller. Quote

Yes, I mean accessing from Admin Console (cloud). I have an ISY994i. I see the port where the card is installed, but don't see how to get it out. Do I need to unscrew the box? Quote

Techman Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago @smarthome_newbie Before try the steps below, did you clear your java cache , checking all 3 boxes, then then download a new IoX Launcher? ---------------- If you have a later model ISY994 the SD card can be removed from the front without opening the case. Remove power from the ISY then push in on the SD card and it will pop out. Clean the contacts on the card with a soft eraser and then reinsert it. Take a look at this link: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/ISY-99i/ISY-26_INSTEON:Replacing/Formatting_an_SD_Card Quote

Can you define simple? Programs with schedules? Programs that take actions other than schedules? Programs that do variables and math . +- / x ..etc? 1 Quote

Thanks for the help! Simple meaning programs like having certain lights come on at sunset and using a button on a keypad to have them all go off at night. I also have door sensors with a siren to use as an alarm. 1 Quote

If you don't have plans to change things much, it might be best to stick with the ISY unless something else happens to make it hard to use. Quote
