More than one speakerhub?

Does anyone have more than one speakerhub in a single home?  I'm thinking of using them as annunciators for various rooms and/or floors.  From reading reviews on the Yolink site I'm convinced it's possible to set up more than one in the app, but I'm not sure how well that will work with this plugin.

@GeddyThanks for the link.  I remembered reading a post about someone with multiple hubs, but my search turned up nothing.

Unless I'm misreading the post you linked to, it doesn't say anything about how multiple hubs are handled in the plugin.  I'd want to be able to send a TTS command to 2 or 3 of them with the same message at the same time.  Not clear if I'd be able to do that.  This is related to my doorbell thread in the IoX Support board.

@xlurkrI am using 4 speaker hubs with one yolink hub and one node server. They are scattered throughout the house on different floors. They announce for things like packages at front door, back shed door open, gate open etc. I believe  that I leave a few seconds delay between sending the same message to each speaker hub but not sure if this is necessary (just a precaution to prevent confusion - like 2 people speaking at the same time). I only wish the node server could allow for more than 9 possible messages. @Panda88any chance for this; does the local hub allow for more than 9?

there is a config parameter NBR_TTS  you can use to specify the number of messages that can be defined.  I think the code allows you to set a higher number - and you should then run the node, stop it and start it again - that should increase the number of messages that can be defined

It may not work, but let me know if it does not and send a log file with debug enabled

@Panda88I set it to 10 and added a 10th message then did update. I think I was on 15; the update moved me to 21. Yolink still showed up in the AC but only 1 node was there. I tried a restart but stlll no nodes. I then set count back to 9 and removed the 10th message and restarted (twice) but there is still only 1 node (YoLinkSetup)

what do you mean by nodes?   there should be one node per speakerhub registered.  the setting is to select different messages to be played on different conditions

you may need to restart once more as the  node updated and it will not remember the setting from the previous version if just set (i believe)

I only see 1 node in PG3 and I don't see any Yolink devices in the Admin Console. I have restarted PG3 Yolink a number of times
