Is there any way to run multiple copies of IoX (one for an operational ISY994 and the other for an eisy)?  I am trying to migrate programs from the Elk Module in the 994 to the Elk plugin on the eisy.

@srjacob what computer OS are you running? In Win10 and Win11 you could try with 2 desktop options (windows key + tab then "new desktop".  I've never actually attempted this, but expect it would work to at least have both admin console open at once.

There's no way to "migrate" the programs. You'll need to recreate them. If you followed the normal migration path the programs should have come over, but would be broken. Once you have the Elk plugin running and have the nodes in admin console you should be repair the programs. (I'm assuming this as I don't use the Elk plugin somebody that went through the process could confirm if programs were there and fixable after migration.)

The best option would be to copy the programs from the ISY994 to a text file then recreate them once the eisy is fully operational.

If I understand what you want to do, all you need to do is start the IoX finder two times. The first time you start it, select your ISY994 unit and open the admin console. Start another instance of IoX finder and this time select eisy and login to the admin console.

I do this all the time and everything works fine.

As for migrating your programs, they should have come over during the migration process if the procedure was followed correctly. One thing of note, the migration backup is different than a normal ISY backup, so be sure to follow the migration instructions for making a migration backup.
