Alexa automatically upgrading to Alexa+?????

Featured Replies

There have been numerous posts about Alex+ breaking the UDI skill for the connectivity between Alexa and Eisy.

I just received this email from Amazon, suggesting that they will be automatically updating us.

Has anyone else received this?

Any better luck lately with Alex+ and UDI??

Mine was updated a few days ago, Automatically. Alexis voice Changed into that of a Younger women's / girls voice, Which I find personally annoying. However The spokens that we have used In the last few days to operate Lights and scenes through dish Have continued to work just as before

One of mine updated. Also got a new voice that we changed. It has been several weeks and I have no problems. I find it better in fact since you no longer have to say things exactly as scripted. You can talk to it like it were a person using variable words, word order, and can add extra words. Like , hey Alexa, can you turn on the patio kitchen lights?

that's good news!!! thanks for the updates on your experiences..

Will be curious if amazon can figure out who / where I am as I am in a second home with a different Alexa account, but still use my prime account here. Been a pain trying to get Amazon Music subscription to work here becasue of this.

@dbwarner5 I got the same email. Waiting until things don't work. At least you can get out of the "early access" easily. Just have to say: "Alexa, end Early Access," or "Alexa, exit Alexa+".

But if what @TJF1960 and @apostolakisl are saying is that things work (now). That's hopefully a positive sign. If not for Echo for all the UD integration parts. 🤞
