Changing Internet Provider

Featured Replies

I am changing Internet Provider and I am not very good with routers. So I am hoping someone can explain what I will need to do to keep my eisy running with the new provider.

I have searched the internet for guidance but unfortunately much of this is over my head.

Thanks in advance for your help.

In principle, you don't need to do anything if you're keeping your existing router. If you're getting a new router, then if you have your eisy communicating with other devices that talk to it over IP on your local network, then you might need to make IP address reservations that correspond to any current ones configured in your existing router.

Thank you. I am getting a new router. I will take a look at what I am doing in my current router and mirror that with the new one. I think I get it.

Thanks again for your response
