Is support ending for IoX Launcher on Apple silicon?

Featured Replies

I just got this message on my Apple Silicon Mac:

I am using this version of IoX launcher:

Am I using the wrong version of the launcher? Is a new one coming out? Am I misinterpreting the message?

Same - didn't see this before I posted my topic about this. Same question, not sure if it's as simple as installing JDK in place of this java installation or not.

This was not as straight forward as installing the Java 8 for Apple Silicon. The new Java 8 does not have the same type of web launcher. Here is what I did to make it work with zero "intel" java running on my Mac:

  1. Download and install Java 8 from Azul -- Use settings: MacOS, Java 8 LTS, ARM 64, and JDK FX

  2. Download OpenWebStart

  3. Download a fresh Start-5.jnlp from UD, right click and say "open with" and choose OpenWebStart

Hopefully that will be the answer because I did everything except I downloaded the start.jnlp that is on their main page now. Never saw a start-5. I have a new mac and can't get IoX launcher working to connect to my ISY994.

EDIT: I can't find anything called start-5. start.jnlp actually runs fine. It's the admin jar coming from the ISY that has x86 binaries in it.
