I have an eisy stuck on firmware 5.5.9 from 2023-03-07 and can not upgrade it. I have tried upgrade packages from the config page but after it says it will take 30 mins and clicking ok, the admin console closes down and nothing happens. there is not manual update option on the help menu as there use to be, so I am at a loss on how to update my eisy. Thank you for any help you can provide.

If you have UD Mobile, try the update from it.

The release notes advise against upgrading from below 5.9.1. I guess they make the upgrade process actually check that. You'll have to open a ticket for this.

As @Guy Lavoie suggests the best method is to open a support ticket with UD. Based on the latest release it's not suggested to update from an older version (like you have). Also note that the most recent update specifically states to be local and use Admin Console.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• If our IoX Version is below 5.9.1, do not upgrade as your unit may get bricked

• Backup your unit before attempting any upgrade. This is CRUCIAL

• It's best to backup using eisyui.

• Upgrade MUST be done when you are local to your unit AND using the Admin Console

• If you are using Matter devices, they might not work after the upgrade. In that case, you need to restore your backup using eisyui.
