September 20Sep 20 Due to my Trane thermostat failing, I added another Venstar T7850. This makes 2. Much to my surprise (and disappointment), this app only only supports 1 thermostat. Can you add another instance for the second one, or am I just out of luck?
September 20Sep 20 It supports multiple thermostats. I have 3. I put their IP addresses in config separated by semicolons. Edited September 20Sep 20 by hart2hart
Sunday at 05:14 AM4 days Author I still can't get this app to see my new thermostat. I have the IP address typed in as the second entry (my first venstar works fine). the second one, not so much. Polygot shows 2 nodes, but it never shows up in the list of devices in the administrative console. Is there another step I am missing? I stopped, started, restarted, and rebooted. it still does not show up in my list of thermostats. once again, the first one shows up fine.
Sunday at 09:52 AM4 days I have found that doing a discover worked best in adding my thermostat especially after migrating the NS to eisy-ui.
Monday at 05:53 AM3 days Author I have tried it with hostname and ip addresses. it still will not see my latest thermostat. It does now show 4 nodes, but the same thermostat shows up twice. with different names. and different ID numbers.Once it shows up in polygot, do I have to do anything to get it to show up in the admin console?
Monday at 01:51 PM3 days I don’t know if it makes a difference but in the Key, I have “hostname” and you have “IP addresses(es)”
Tuesday at 12:33 AM3 days Are those static or DHCP assigned IP addresses? If DHCP are they in your router as assigned to their MAC addresses? Do you get a response if you ping 192.168.1.200? Edited Tuesday at 12:36 AM3 days by hart2hart
1 hour ago1 hr Author Yes, they are static IP's and the api is turned on.I can query it with: http://192.168.1.100/query/runtimesand other commands and it answers fine. both thermostats have the same firmware also.I'm lost!
