Yesterday at 03:05 PM1 day When simply opening MOBILE running a Favorite may not work until SYNCHRONIZE is run.I've tried LEGACY SYNCHRONIZATION to no real avail.Thoughts?
Yesterday at 04:11 PM1 day Synchronization is not required. Please explain what the favorite is, a device/scene/program/variable?What do you mean by may not work, does not show status, does not issue command?
Yesterday at 04:14 PM1 day Author ThanksSometimes it does not issue a command to a device until Sync Edited yesterday at 04:16 PM1 day by HL3
Yesterday at 04:16 PM1 day Please be more specific with the answers. If there is no status a toggle command cannot be issued.
Yesterday at 04:44 PM1 day Author None of mine have a toggle command. I have for example:-Groups for lighting run by 6 & 8 button wall keypads 2334-2 and wireless remotes 2342-232 for example.-IOLinc 2450 to open Garage door. When these are triggered the only occasional issues are via MOBILE then rectified by Synchronization. This is a repeatable condition. When using hardwire or wireless insteon devices performance is perfect. When using Mobile SOMETIMES, performance is either deminshed or non-working. Synchronization rectifies these issues immediately. It has had this behavior since deploying the eisy years ago. I waited chalking it up to product evolution.

I waited chalking it up to product evolution. This is not normal behavior, and has never been. Synchronization is only needed after adding a new device from outside of the app, it takes to long to do every time the app opens.Does eisy have the latest firmware, if not it is possibly a bug that was fixed in later firmware. Most likely cuase. If this is sometimes, then there is something causing the issue during these times. It could be the connection settings, do you have local connection settings, if so delete them they are likely incorrect. Most likely cause after firmware. If that does not fix the issue, the first thing to check is if the app has status of devices when the issue is encounterd, if it does not it is not connected or isy/eisy is not responding.
Yesterday at 05:10 PM1 day Author Latest firmware all around. No local IP. 8080 for eisy. Interesting that sync resovles the issue Edited yesterday at 05:18 PM1 day by HL3
Yesterday at 05:19 PM1 day Then there is another variable causing the issue. If on the latest firmware, check if the same happens in eisy-ui on the same device when happening in UD Mobile. See remote connection in Q&A: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/47042-eisy-ui-is-getting-there-heres-where-we-stand/
