PG3 continues to run

Featured Replies

In yesterday's announcements it was noted that if all of the plugins have been migrated then you can shut PG3 down. I've gone to setting and unchecked PG3, rebooted, but it still shows to be running under System, Services. There is only a restart button there, no stop.

How do we get PG3 shut down and to stay down?

And very unrelated, but I'll kill 2 birds with one stone, are there really no forums or threads at all on the EISY-AI? I've looked everywhere. I've installed, but it just says starting, so looking for insights and what others are doing.

There is discussion about eisy-ai within the focus group that was set up for the beta trial. The invitation to join was sent out a couple of months ago, you must have missed it.

There is nothing wrong with starting a thread on it here too if you want. Tu run, you need to be running some releases from the staging repository, so it comes with risks. It looks very promising so far!

Thanks - I do recall the focus group email and know I deleted it. I thought after official announcement yesterday a new forum would pop up. I'm a dabbler at most, so won't start throwing distractions around. I'll give it a couple weeks to continue to mature and work out early bugs. It definitely looks promising.

When PG3 is disabled, the PG3 service itself stays active.

Eventually we will have a release that will removes PG3 completely. But for now, we wanted the capability to return to PG3 if something does not work right.

To run eisy-ai, you need to be on Staging. After the install you need to enter the JSON updated (with your AI key) as per the sample on the configuration tab.

Take a look at the readme file.
