Our ISP decided that they could not migrate the forum software so we just bit the bullet and: 1. Moved everything to a new database 2. Upgraded phpBB The only remaining issue is that we have to add back the spam blocker. Working on it right now. With kind regards, Michel

(Kidding) I did notice sometimes I get this error: SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Out of memory (Needed 16777124 bytes) [5] An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists. What do you think?

So, we have not lost any time on ELK! This errors you see are with the new forum? The new forum uses SQL 5 so it would be quite a problem if the errors are for SQL 4! With kind regards, Michel

Mark Sanctuary Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 I think it may be a defense mechanism for spam. It happens during editing a post right at the point when I hit the preview button too close to the last time I previewed then it just boots me out. Oh well its most likely a new strangeness that I will have to learn to work around. Still love the new forum software otherwise.
