Morris Hansen Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I looked at both and felt Tapatalk has much wider number of forums supported.
wrj0 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Thanks for providing another avenue for ISY information! I downloaded Tapatalk onto my iPhone (ios 4.3.3) and entered the requested login info. Although the app shows I am logged in, for nearly any operation attempted, I receive an error: "System Message. Please login in order to access the User Control Panel.†I'll have to play with it over the weekend to see what's going on.
Mark Sanctuary Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 That sounds strange, maybe an answer to your issue can be found in their forum. http://www.tapatalk.com/forum/
wrj0 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Guess I should done a bit more testing before posting this problem. I found that power cycling the iPhone corrected the problem. This is being posted from the tapatalk app. Seems to be working great now. Thanks again for this support and for allowing me to be a dumb a$$.
Mark Sanctuary Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 Glad you got it going, its a helpful little app.
Brian H Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 I just had a strange error message. I posted a reply to a thread and got an error of you don't have permissions to post here. Yet the post was added to the thread.
Michel Kohanim Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Hi Brian, Thank you. There are also other issues which we are trying to resolve. We might have to move to a different ISP altogether as the response times are not to our expectations. With kind regards, Michel
Brian H Posted June 17, 2011 Author Posted June 17, 2011 Just got another error. Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions. Again was on a posting to a thread and the message was posted.
Michel Kohanim Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Thanks Brian. The response times have gotten better but there are still some issues we are trying to resolve with our ISP. With kind regards, Michel
LeeG Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Michel Two users have posted comments about not finding previous posts. This also happened to me. I just dismissed it as thinking I had failed to hit Submit. This could be but now two other users have commented about making posts and not being able to find them. I my case another post was made very near the time I posted. Not sure it is related or even a problem at this point. Lee
Michel Kohanim Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Hello Lee, Thanks so very much and sincere apologies for all the problems. The ISP had problems with database and that's why the forum was mostly down yesterday. They claim that they have fixed all the problems! With kind regards, Michel
