jmed999 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Does anyone know if there is a way to take an underwater temperature and get a reading on mobilinc or the ISY994i? I would love to be able to monitor my pond's water temp and possibly use it to set an alarm or program with that info. How do I do this? Thanks!
flemingmike Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 you could do it with http://www.smarthome.com/2441ZTH/INSTEO ... tat/p.aspx and http://www.smarthome.com/2433A3/Waterpr ... sor/p.aspx
apostolakisl Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Does ISY have a display or output of the temp somewhere? I don't have any Insteon thermostats since my system is all proprietary rs485 (probably) comm signals. I know with Elk temp readings ISY can text/email those two you or send them to an Elk Keypad for display. I don't see thermostat reading in the custom notifications section, but that could be because I don't have any thermostats. If ISY can't send you the temp, I know you can get it to work using cai webcontrol and the ISY.
ISYhbsh01 Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Those devices were just now released. I don't think the current 3.2.6 firmware supports them. Michel, Can you give an estimated ETA on if & when it will be supported? I am really looking forward to use them as a relatively non-expensive temp/humidity sensor in each room and setup programs to report back to my venstar tstats thats actually controlling the HVAC. ISYhbsh01 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Michel, Have you checked out the 2441ZTH yet? Does it have the same issues as the 2441TH as reported here http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=8745&hilit=2441TH or is it going to work as expected? Thanks.
Michel Kohanim Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Hello hbsh01, Just got them today. With kind regards, Michel
