richtimpa Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 WHen I check the flex alert tab on the electricity / modules page and bring up the url posted in it http://flexyourpower.s3.amazonaws.com/b ... status.xml I get the following: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> -true It always shows that Flex alerts are active when I know that they are not. Did the url change? How do we find te right URL to track this? Thanks for any insight on this Rich
Michel Kohanim Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi Rich, That's what I have been wondering too! Our contact at FYP is no longer there. I just sent an email to the only email available at the site. I had sent another email last week but never heard back. With kind regards, Michel
richtimpa Posted September 25, 2012 Author Posted September 25, 2012 Hi Michel Ok Sounds like you are in the same spot. Hopefully you will get an answer with a new URL. Hope all is well with you and the team. PS George is coming along well now and with his new ISY and hopefully will be tieing in his hamstack in the near future. He is very impressed!
Michel Kohanim Posted September 25, 2012 Posted September 25, 2012 Hi Rich! Yes, I have been in contact with George ... he's quite impressive himself! Still haven't heard back. It seems that they our discontinuing fypower.org ... I have already sent 3 emails in the past week. Just hope someone is there. With kind regards, Michel
cmccartney Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Michel, What ever happened with this? I see an Active status all the time (24/7). Is Flex Alert usable at all, presently?
Michel Kohanim Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Hi Craig, Unfortunately it's been disconnected and we have not been able to find anyone to help us figure out the right URL. With kind regards,Michel
cmccartney Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Michel, There is a website http://www.flexalert.org/ where one can sign up for email alerts, also text, Twitter, Facebook, and so forth. I looked all around the site and could find nothing to query. Too bad an email or text cannot be automatically imported into an ISY variable.
Michel Kohanim Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Hi Craig, Indeed quite disappointing. They used to have a server on amazon AWS but it's no longer there and no one can answer any questions. It just goes into a black hole. With kind regards, Michel
