when I was getting those errors, the admin console would open up with no data in it and the errors overtop.

I tried getting in again now and it works fully and normally.

does it still sound like a dddns problem?

I had some more intermittent trouble getting in to my ISY remotely again this morning. It was giving the same errors, but after three or four tries, it worked. I checked my IP Address and it has not changed for months or longer.

Does this still sounds like a dynamic dns problem? If so, what is the work-around?

Hi someguy,

I cannot be certain. The bottom line is that you cannot communicate with your ISY remotely so, the cause may be one of the following:

1. Your computer firewall

2. Hardware firewall between your remote site and ISY

3. Dynamic DNS

4. No connectivity at ISY location or router issues

5. ISY is too busy doing something ... check Error Log and look for any errors during the times that you had connectivity issues

With kind regards,

Michel
