Upgrade 99i to latest firmware once it become officialUpgrade 994i to same offical releaseSet temp network ip address on 994iInstall self signed certificate on 994iPerform final backup of 99iRequest modules be moved to 994iRemove 99iRestore final 99i backup to 994iConfirm location and time settingsRebootSet final ip address on 994iRebootConfirm Firewall rules reflect 994i mac address (in my case Norton Internet Security -- put ISY in fully trusted zone of home network. Was originally done to get maximum performance with DSCLink -- Thanks again IO_Guy)EnjoyResearch and install a CA Certificate

apostolakisl Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Remember, provided you don't make any changes to your devices after installing the 994i, you can always unplug it and plug the 99i back in and nothing will have changed. So, I wouldn't bother waiting to start running the 994i.
