  1. There is also a bug in PG3 on eisy that after the node servers are installed every time eisy is restarted you need to go to the store and use the (Re)Install button and put them in the same slot they are in and that gets them started.
  2. If you are trying to move the node server from one device to another you can create a ticket with UDI and tell them what you want to do and send them the UUID to both devices and that might help. Even though they transfered the licenses it still did not work for all of my node serves and I'm patiently waiting and still running 2 node servers on Polisy until they get it all straightened out.
  3. Me and @gviliunas were stuck in the initializing system loop so I let that run for at least 2 100% rounds then I did a shutdown through SSH but it just started with the loop again. After that I have tried reinstalling ISY pkg and restoring a backup with no luck.
  4. I removed the isy pkg and installed it then tried restoring a backup but it did not help. Since you submitted a ticket let me know what you find out.
  5. I was so close to being done I had 2 node servers that had issues and 5 more Z-Wave devices to add. I don't know if a factory reset would even work.

Did you change between wired and wireless network? I know that would change the Mac but I did not know it would change the UUID!
  7. Well you are not the only one! I tried to do a restore and it doesn't work.

There is an issue with PG3 that I was told will be corrected soon, after you install the node server you back and hit the (Re)Install putting it in the same slot and it should start after that.
  9. Try the (Re)Install button and put it in the same slot it is already installed in.

@Michel Kohanimtold me yes but I could not get a restore from Polisy to work on my eisy and Michel had to do some remote magic so I could even start from scratch with my eisy. I'm about 3/4 of the way through my Insteon and not sure if I will even bother with my 6 Z-Wave items until I get my ZMatter board.

Thank you for working on a holiday I was really surprised to get a response from you today I thought it would be waiting until Monday while you had a nice holiday weekend!
  12. @asbril I received a response from Michel to my ticket if you send them the UUID to both devices and they will be able to transfer the node servers.
  13. My understanding is the purchase of the node servers is tied to the device they were installed on and that is another question I asked when I submitted my ticket if we were going to be able to transfer the licenses over to the eisy or if we have to repurchase the node servers we already have.

I thought that was more the Z-Wave migration to the ZMatter board but I could be wrong.

Has anybody been successful loading a backup from Polisy with 5.5.0 firmware to eisy with 5.5.0 firmware? Once I restored the backup my eisy stayed in the system update loop. I submitted a ticket but I was just wondering how everyone is doing with their new toy.
  16. I found to make eisy's wifi active to be found by UD Mobile you have to press the multi function button twice to activate eisy's wifi setup.
  17. Normal practice is to reserve the IP address in your router.

Go to "My Account" and login then go to "Details" then "My Orders" and you should be able to click on your order there for more information.
  19. tazman replied to redridge's topic in eisy
I miss the IR inputs from before but it was said unless someone who could build a node server is interested it probably won't happen

I did not receive a shipping notification but if you go to UD's site and check your order it should have a link to the shipping info at least mine did.
  21. My guess is we will have to upgrade past 5.5 to have the proper tools to migrate Z-Wave to the ZMatter board so I followed Michel's instructions in this thread and did sudo pkg install -r udi pkgsudo /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/udxops.sh upgrade.polisy without any issues. You could open a ticket and ask what the best path for migration would be for you and get an answer from the only people who have experience with the new product or wait and see how it plays out for others who are willing to take the leap.
  22. I don't know of any specific instructions unfortunately. I found the directions I think I used to setup the portal https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Portal_Node_Server_Occupancy_%26_Locative_app_Instructions On MacroDroid you setup a geofence area for your home then you create a macro for entering the geofence are and send the HTTP GET command that you get from the portal to trigger for entering then you do the same for exiting.
  23. On android devices you can use MacroDroid to trigger the portal.
  24. I don't know it says it is free and the other ones that say free the button says install? Maybe because I already did the trial on the original one it will not allow it?
  25. The one in the non-production store will not install for me there is an Activate button under purchase but when I click the button nothing happens. Maybe someone else can see if they can install it?
