No we were not sure if the short poll was waking the car so the idea was to set the short and long poll around the same time so it was not constantly waking the car. In my opinion pending on what you are using the node server for there probably is not much value in constantly polling the car.

On the Configuration tab it has a short poll and a long poll and my understanding is that the short poll is suppose to pull the information from the cloud and not wake the car but I don't know what information is updated with it. The long poll wakes the car and I assume updates all the information. Maybe @Panda88can confirm if my understanding is correct and if both should update all the information or not.

I have my short poll set for 86399 because I was worried about waking the car. I recently installed a Bluetooth 12V battery monitor and just ran a test and changing the short poll did not wake the car so I'm going to set my short poll to 14400. I usually charge my car over the weekend using the excess solar with programs to control the charge rate and query the car to have the information updated when charging starts and stops since I display it on my mirror. I have a trip coming up and if I remember I plan to stop the node server so it doesn't add any unwanted drain on the battery for my trip.

Yes the PLM will work in any USB port with the proper cables.

@toddlockfor PG3X you use the same password as what you use for ISY login.

Depending on your lock if you look through the options in creating a program I know my lock shows "locked" "unlocked" "jammed" and "unknown" that you can write a program to notify you when it is in any of those state.

I use the Vue node server to operate portable heaters using the excess solar and I charge my car from the excess solar instead of pulling from the grid when possible. I use eISYIR to be able to control lights with my Harmony remote. Then Weatherflow to display the weather on my Mirror that shows my whole house automation.

Have you updated? I was having the occupancy not working after reboot but it has been fixed for me since IoX 5.5.6

@firstonemy trial subscription has expired and there is no option to purhase. Have you decided on what fee structure will be for this node server?

If you clear your Java cache including Installed Applications as shown below then download https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp that should sort it all out for you. This is all covered in the thread that has the firmware and instructions that I think you should take the time to reread so you can get everything updated with the proper firmware you need.

You have to clear your Java cache then download the start.jnlp which is linked in the thread for upgrading your firmware.

It sounds like you need to clear your Java temporary files including Installed Applications. If you look in the AC under Help menu then About the firmware and UI must match.

I have this issue and have a ticket open with UDI who said they can not reproduce the problem. When it happens I just have to configure it and upload the node definition and it is good until IoX is restarted.

Just for information my monthly reading matches the app. @btreindersif it does not look right I would try a Reinstall from the node server store.

The update got PG3x on my eisy back up and running again.

If you press the multi function button 4 times that will reset the network configuration on eisy.

I have a ticket open with UDI for the same problem with Sensative window and door sensors. I sent them the data they asked for plus a backup of my eisy and have not heard anything back yet.

Depending on what you re trying to do there are possibilities. You can use ISY devices and variables to trigger Routines in Alexa but Alexa devices are not made available in ISY.

I knew there were at least a couple of people wanting this functionality and I think it is a great addition to the eisy even though I don't use it very much. It took a little more programming then the old IR input of the 944 but I figured out how to make a single button control the on and off because free buttons are valuable when you are trying to control so many things. I like it even though I'm the only one who knows what all the buttons are for!
