On the old TeslaPW version 0.3.69 the solar information loads but will not update unless I press the "Update System Data" button. The main other feature I use is "Battery Charge Level" which updates on it's own. I tried the new udi_TeslaPW2 and although I can not find the "Instant Solar Export" in the AC I assume because of the amount of data does not fit in the AC I did find it in UD Mobile but it shows a value of "99" for that value and a bunch of others.

You could try Home Assistant.
-
If you just want to see the value you can see it in PG3 as Bob shows above or if you have UD Mobile it handle the nodes with more entries better.

I updated my installs Current Version: 3.0.1 [Production] Current Version: 3.1.0 [Beta]

Home Assistant VM on eisy Error - Unsupported system - virtualization_image

@apnar thanks for your work on this! I was giving mine 50G of space so that should not have been a problem for me. I will give it another try over the weekend. -
@sjenkinsthe precision settings are adequate for my use. Thanks!
-
@sjenkinsnice job I can confirm I can send to and pull from a state variable. I only use the current, high and low values from the temperature plugin then I reset it with a program in the morning to track my high and low temperature for the day. I'm not sure what you mean by Adding the ability to handle variables with precision other than zero would be good too. When I set "Current Raw to Prec On" I see values of 77.2 but state variable 77.26 shows 772.6 so I think it can handle a precision of 1 but nothing higher.
-
That makes sense from what I was seeing but makes me wonder why @paulbateshas the odd fields in the Virtual Devise Controller unless the AC was not restarted after installing the plugin.
-
@sjenkinsI tried setting up a temperature to pull directly from a variable without success so there is a bug for you unless I'm doing something wrong and someone else is able to make it work.
-
And I just set my temperature value with programs. I don't remember if I did that because it wasn't working right for me or what.
-
@paulbatesare you sure you have your ISY set properly with the port number? I use localhost:8080 Your AC picture looks like something is not setup properly the controller should not have all the extra items and your temperature should have a different icon.

Home Assistant VM on eisy Error - Unsupported system - virtualization_image
tazman replied to pablohoney's topic in eisy
@apnarI ran your script and it seemed like it ran fine except for an error on line 126 which I think should not affect HA. It shows like homeassistant VM is running but homeassistant.local:88123 does not come online at all and not even showing up in my router with an IP address. If I go to the VNC address it has a shell prompt but if I back out of that it seems like it is the Bhyve loader and I think HA is crashing but can not find any proof of that. I was able to rerun my old script an load the old HA again with no problem. -
No there were more created then what I have.

I installed virtual from the non-production store in a different slot for testing I was surprised to see a bunch of nodes installed automatically but that saved me from having to create them. The main thing I noticed is the switches are showing true and false instead of on and off. With the configuration that installed from the store there was an ip address that was not for my eisy but the nodes still populated in the AC panel for me. If there is anything specific you need done along the way for testing just let me know.

@sjenkinsthank you for your interest in keeping these abounded plugins going and your continued support! I use a couple of virtual switches for scenes and Alexa to keep everything in sync and give control over items. I also use a temperature node to help keep track of highs and lows for the day. I see a lot errors in my ISY log for this plugin that I sometimes see the same errors for other plugins like Vue but this one is almost constant even though it works fine for me. I'm not sure what more could be added to this plugin but I look forward your ideas and others suggestions. Are the programs in a folder? It sounds like there is a folder with a condition that is not allowing the programs to run or else go into the program and select a line without changing anything update it and save changes to see if that gets things working again for you.

Home Assistant VM on eisy Error - Unsupported system - virtualization_image

Anyone find a fix for this yet? -
Last I spoke with@kewashi he was not hanging around here but tagging him or contacting him on his github site might get his attention. He has been very helpful with me!

You can use a variable or other device to trigger a routine on Alexa that has your TTS setup.
-
@RRalstonI'm not aware of any documentation did you look on the plugin's Github site? I have the vehicle charger and I'm able to start and stop the charger and set the rate it charges at. You can control all of that in programs or manually. I use it to have my own charge on solar programs so it starts charging when there is enough solar, adjust the rate of charge to only use solar to charge the vehicle and stops charging when the solar is to low.

I found this in the log file for Virtual but there is no place I see to allow access. Does the node server need to be updated? My virtual devices seem to be working properly so I don't know if this can be ignored. 2024-03-20 08:45:20,139 Thread-13 udi_interface.isy ERROR isy:_info: Access to ISY is not authorized. @walkman9999sorry i'm not familiar with the product and new ZWAVE devices need to be remove before adding just to clear testing references. If the remote also works through ZWAVE you might have to check with the manufacturer or maybe someone here with the same model can help if you list what model you have.

Try removing the blinds before you add them to eisy.
