  1. This is what I just found also referring another dev I work with... https://www.universal-devices.com/product/developer-plan/
  2. I wouldn't say too simple or unrelated. I think it just hasn't come up or been requested before.... I have a GC somewhere... I may have to take a look and see what it would take to do a nodeserver for it.
  3. Great. I'll send this over to eK and to Wes at Mobilinc as they have the same problem.
  4. Now what I really want to know.... How is the name supposed to be pronounced???? is it like "Policy" or is it "Police" or "Police-y" come one we now need an enunciation guide!!!
  5. LOL... I got the letter as well. I don't mind the coupon
  6. There's a Polyglot NS for that https://github.com/jimboca/udi-wirelesstag-poly

    HTTP Error

Rebooted what? The ipad's or the ISY? I would agree constant queries are putting unnecessary load against the ISY. The queries were coming from your iPad's....

    HTTP Error

Those aren't actually errors. I would classify them as debug messages myself. Something (your ipad's) are doing a query against the ISY constantly.
  9. Your ISY’s sidekick now and its destiny in the future.
  10. The vast majority of fans are IR or traditional RF. What fan do you have that's Bluetooth? There are some (Hampton Bay) that are Zigbee. I'm curious as to the intended or foreseen use cases of the BT with Polisy as well. Perhaps a native BT sensor for the presence nodeserver? Perhaps other control use cases implemented by a nodeserver... hmm... possibilities
  11. This is a general issue across the board with all z-wave controllers I have used/tested. None of them accurately/correctly report battery status reliably across devices. I think this comes from how diverse z-wave devices are and the quality of battery monitoring implemented by each manufacturer. I don't think there's anything UDI can do in regards to this. +1000 to this as battery devices can't be polled/queried and those pop-ups are annoying. To further this battery devices should be auto excluded from the z-wave heal as well. The battery devices are not awake for the heal and the multiple attempts to communicate to get neighbors and update routes for them does nothing but slow the whole process down.
  12. The Wiki is our friend
  13. I learned this a few months ago too... In the ISY a "Control" function is from a device being manually switched on/off/dim or motion or contact sensors being triggered. A "status" is only for programmatic use for if/when the status of a device changes and can be used with a "wait" as the status change can interrupt (stop) a program or reset it and be used like a timer. Hopefully I'm explaining that correctly. If not I'll get shot
  14. I would suggest contacting Express Controls to find out the product status. I'll check around as well.
  15. No experience with them myself however. The vendor is "Express Controls" and these units are sold as EzMultiPli http://expresscontrols.com/products
  16. Ahh... So this is actually what you're looking for? https://shop.homeseer.com/collections/sensors/products/homeseer-hsm200-z-wave-multi-sensor?variant=23364824134
  17. Good Luck. The cheaper units are locked to their eco-system. Amazon now owns Ring and will not even respond to partner requests so the only integration possible are from hacks that people have done. Nest is the same with Google controlling them. The generic "other" systems are hit or miss and you're on your own entirely with those. If you find something that is of decent quality and has an open api or integration program let me know.
  18. As mentioned it seems Agave is popular for Android currently. The new Mobilinc X works with Android if you already pay for the Mobilinc Connect subscription then it may make sense. I'm currently testing/evaluating eKeyPad Pro. My use case is different as I plan to use it for installs but I also will use it at home and for my wife as well. eK Pro only runs on iOS though so it does not meet your requirements there. However it meets the requirements of having a simple, straightforward user interface and allows me to configure and lock the interface to prevent inadvertent changes.
  19. I've not heard anything about a 1080p model. I can check. IMHO I don't see a purpose for 1080p for a door camera that is generally viewed on a small screen anyways not on a 65" + size TV.
  20. Bias warning - DoorBird dealer DoorBird is capable of being integrated with the ISY and other systems. The DoorBird video feeds are also available via standard RTSP for use with 3rd party viewers such as Blue Iris. As this is a local based system there is no cloud that by default interfaces with Alexa/Google. To integrate with for example and Echo Show you can use a 3rd party service Monocle that can accept RTSP feeds from local cameras and then using their Alexa Skill you can access your camera feeds from an Echo Show. Currently I'm not aware of a ISY nodeserver for DoorBird. I have an interest in developing one but there has not been much community interest which leads to no funding towards the development effort.
  21. @asbril I think he has Mobilinc Connect setup. You can't have ISY portal and Mobilinc Connect at the same time. The previous generation of Mobilinc apps didn't require Mobilinc Connect which is why you don't have the issue. You can use Mobilinc Pro, HD, etc with a direct connection and not required to use Mobilinc connect like the new Mobilinc X does.
  22. I had a similar issue where the MSII just stopped periodically. Then it happened on another one. I changed the batteries in both units and the problem has not come back. That was over a week ago....

    ISY app

Ahhhh.... see forum mannerisms... I should be more specific. I wasn't offended that's why I was asking if I should be or not?

The Caseta Standard is very basic but the Caseta Pro bridge brings RA2 telnet integration which is fine until you want to go beyond 50 devices or you want to use anything other than switch/dimmer. I'm really not quite sure "how" to take your statement of "probably better off focusing on lutron especially the Caseta line as it's much more affordable"..... ??? Really that could be taken in a few ways depending on mood.
