I've been trying to link two on/off switches with Group 2 association and am not succeeding, hopefully someone here can help. To start: Two Zooz ZEN71 on/off switches, both flashed with latest firmware (10.20) and cleared with a factory reset. No internal config values changed (everything left at factory default), as Zooz recommends here. Switches are both mounted in a 2-gang plastic box for testing, and wired into an extension cord pigtail. The box is sitting less than three feet from my ZMatter board connected to a Polisy, running IoX 5.7.0. Following some other threads, I then created a scene and added the On-Off Power Switch and SC Basic Assoc 2 members from each switch, as shown here: I then updated the SC Basic Assoc 2 members to use Z-Wave Basic MC S2 Auth for the opposite switch's On-Off Power Switch, and to ignore its own On-Off Power Switch, as shown here: Basically, I'm getting inconsistent behavior from this setup. Sometimes toggling one switch will make the other toggle quickly, other times the other switch will toggle late (like several seconds), and sometimes the same switch I just toggled will then toggle back to its previous state. Anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

nvm, turns out Mac had a popup to allow access to the folder, but it was hidden...

I just updated to 5.7.0 and tried to do a firmware update on a Zooz Zen71 switch. I have the .gbl file (ZEN71_V10R20.gbl). I selected Zwave / Firmware Update and Yes to proceed. However when I went to select the file (in my Downloads folder), the file selection box is empty (doesn't show any files). The original .zip file is in the same folder and doesn't show up either. Am I missing something?

I read in another post that the OTA firmware update option currently only supports .otz files, and excludes .gbl files - but these are the only file types that Zooz supplies for their hardware. The note also says .gbl and .bin files will be supported in a future update. Do we have an eta on when .gbl files will be supported?

The real question is, when people use other methods for OTA updates (say, a Zooz stick and laptop software), how often do devices get bricked? In other words, is the eisy/Polisy doing something different that makes it more likely?

I've looked over that thread and it never seems to directly address the simple scenario of two Zen71 (or similar) toggle switches associated together into a scene (no Insteon involved). For example, which of the five tags (for each switch) are required to be in the scene (on-off power, basic assoc 2/3, scene button 1/2)? Which of them should be configured as controllers/responders (if any)? Which ones have non-default link types? I'm also running 5.6.2 and it appears some UI items have changed (or at least, my screens don't look exactly like those shown).

There was a discussion a while back on getting Zwave devices to command/respond to each other similar to how Insteon devices work in scenes, and the consensus was that the protocol supports it but at the time the Zwave/UD interface did not. I believe the ZMatter board was supposed to provide this functionality, but don't find any reference to it in the wiki. Does anyone know if this feature is now supported, and if so how do we use it?

@Javi I can confirm there have been no geofence triggers all weekend, and just verified location tracking is set to Always with Precise Location.

I began using UD Mobile geofence features a few weeks ago and found them very reliable - wrote some logic to report UD Mobile and Mobilinc geofence entries/exits for comparison and they were very similar. However recently updated to 16.4.1 and (around the same time) noticed the geofence triggers aren't happening (I had since disabled Mobilinc geofence so can't see if they're both impacted now). I'm hoping this is an iOS issue and will wait it out to see what happens....

Went to purchase one today and see they show Out of Stock. Anyone know when they'll be back?

I recall the latest Geofence feature was considered a Beta version - any word on when we can expect an "official" version we can rely on? I've been running a geofence in parallel with my existing MobiLinc one and the performance of UD Mobile has been great, but I don't want to deprecate the old one until there's some word that the UD Mobile feature is here to stay.

Yeah the first thing I did was add a new state var and synchronize - I PM'd the backup file just now.

Yeah that's the problem, the first arrow you show "Value = 1 ()" I can never get to show anything but "Value = 0 ()". Maybe I'm not entering the value correctly? Shouldn't be much room for error with a simple value dialog box. And yes synchronization was done, because this is a new state variable that I added just for testing UD Mobile geofence. I added it using the admin console then did a synchronize at UD Mobile to get the variable to show up.

I'm running 1.0.24. Running iOS 16.3, modifying a state variable.

So I set up a Geofence with simple Enter and Exit commands, but the Enter command doesn't seem to work. I want to set the value of a state variable to 1 when I enter, and set it to 0 when I exit. But for some reason UD Mobile doesn't allow me to enter the correct value for config. Steps I followed: Edit the Geofence Click on Command Value, brings up popup Click on Value Click on value 0 to bring up value entry window Click on the existing 0, change it to 1, click Save Window now shows Value 1, click Save Click Save in upper right corner Back to Geofence screen, under Enter Commands it shows "SET Value, Value = 0 ()". I click Save anyway. Now when I exit and enter the geofence, the value never changes to 1. I can manually set the state var to 1 and it changes to 0 when I leave, but never changes to 1 when I enter Just for kicks, if I go back to the Enter Commands selection to look at the value, the window shows 0 still - don't know if this is supposed to represent a default or show the current value. Anyway, this seems like a UD Mobile Geofence setup bug?

And if I don't import backups? Can't I just create a geofence from scratch on the second phone, and a few simple controls on the Favorites screen? Are backup imports necessary for the second phone? Ideal scenario: Install UD Mobile on two phones On each phone, create a geofence (with each one controlling a separate variable) On each phone, create a unique set of controls on the Favorites screen (the two users may want different sets of controls) Sounds simple (and it's how I set up MobiLinc on our two phones), is it possible?

Curious about the comment "Not sure how to add multiple users though" - with MobiLinc, the apps on the two phones (mine and my wife's) are each independent instances and are each programmed to set/reset a different state variable within IoX. Will this not be possible with UD Mobile? Does it somehow want to keep multiple versions across different devices in sync?

This is exactly the feature I've been waiting for, and is the only reason I'm still running MobiLinc in parallel with UD Mobile (MobiLinc has geofence support). As soon as I update to the new version, I'll set up some test cases. My wife and I use it to activate outside lights if we arrive home after dark.

Curious, did UD indicate that this is a problem that can be fixed on their end, by updating the ZMatter firmware? Just wondering if this was a one-off fix for your particular case or if they've acknowledged an issue that can affect their entire user base?

I also had two sunset-based programs fail to run last night, and chalked it up to a glitch because of the time change Sunday morning? I was going to check it tonight to see if it happens again...

@Michel Kohanim, when will this USB option be available? And since you worded it "The initial version...", does this imply there will be a second version sometime later? What will it consist of? How long until it is available?

Any idea if these Weigand devices can use cellphone NFC communication to activate a door, instead of the RFID tags?

@TFay thanks for what looks like a lot of work! As a fellow RXV-679 owner I'm wondering how I can use these? Currently using a Polisy on the latest firmware but don't use any network or polyglot resources yet...

When will geofence logic be added to UD Mobile? I love this product but still need to keep MobiLinc Pro around just for this feature - would be great to consolidate down to one interface.
