    eISY Dimensions

    The eisy itself is 5 1/8" x 3 3/16" x 3/4" With the Z-Wave USB Module it's 5 1/8" x 9" x 3/4" as pictured here: The eisy comes with a wall mount. Cheers! TRI0N
  2. Yes the USB Z-Wave Zigbee/Matter Module in all you need. Zigbee like DennisC said, will be added soon to eisy per UD's schedule. One thing they didn't mention or add in the box is the correct antenna locations. Yellow Ring Band on Z-Wave, Purple on Zigbee. TRI0N
  3. Let me be clear here on Button and Association Numbers: Scene Button # | Basic Assoc Only # 1 | 4 2 | 6 3 | 8 4 | 10 Main Button/Scene Button 5 | 2 (Main Button has Scene 5 in addition to Direct Wire Load by default). Hope this helps... TRI0N
  4. Okay first I did sway away from from the topic of z-wave and was using kasa that should be in another discussion. However with your suggestion I was able to make the Scene Buttons work with what they really needed to do and the On/Off is now toggled and the light does work but I wouldn't bet on the LED not falling out of Sync with if the lights but I can just make the LEDS stay on if it does. What I'm Using: Zooz 700 Series ZEN32 Scene Controller | Main Scene Controllers for Kitchen/Patio/Rooms with Multi Lighting or power scenes like plugs etc. EnerWave Smart Dual Relay Switch Module | Fans with lights for separate control, kitchen main lights so that half (odd) and half (even) can be use to create all around ambient lighting, can be used for many 10A applications. It's literally 1/4 the size of a Insteon Fan Controller or other relay they sold. EnerWave Smart Single Relay Switch Module | Fans with no lights, kitchen island pendent lights, shower recess lighting, things that you can either control via scene or voice. *In this example it will be kitchen pendent lights. First thing you are going to notice it this is really small! Like 1/6th the size of a Insteon Fan Controller or other relay they sold. Example used to to make the Pendent Lights turn on/off as Brian stated with this model is as followed: ZY 005 On-Off Power Switch = EnerWave Smart Single Relay Switch Module ZY 002 Scene Button 1 = Zooz 700 Series ZEN32 Scene Controller (Small Button with Green LED in pic above) ZY 002 Basic Assoc Only 4 = Brian's fix to the On/Off problem with the Scene Buttons. Adding the Association which in this case was Basic Function needed to be assigned to the scene as well. IMPORTANT PART: You must set this for the Scene button to function correctly for On/Off toggling. Otherwise I don't know of any other way to make the scene button toggle by default. Cheers! TRI0N
  5. Update: Only the main Binary Button responds as a toggle switch. I also tried the 2 taps for off. Nope. That's not turning off. Now someone mentioned adding one of the associations to the switch. This is what I can figure out about what was added when I included the device. Here is the device as is, I have not renamed this yet till things are working as intended. I also added the Tech Support Clip of what Association information I could find about the other top ones. It looks like it's only pulling the Association Groups 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 respectively for each button for example "Group 4: Small button #1 basic set (pressed)" So in theory, ZY 002 Scene Button 2 and ZY 002 Basic Association Only 6 go together in the proposed request. So I tried this for a test scene adding the association to the scene: Then I got this showing Button 2 Status in the Test Scene as being On. I'm not sure if that is the LED or miss information. It does not change if I press the button. That's where I'm at right now with this product. Sum it up. I'm still where I was except the Button Status saying it's on. Any idea would be great. It was worth a shot... TRI0N
  6. I literally have a 3D Printer setup in the garage for the niece so she can build Cosplay body parts. It's 3' x 3' and she hasn't even used it yet. Merry Christmas eh? Nah I'm sure 2 months before this years LA Con she is going to go ape snitz. TRI0N
  7. Check your area for 3D Print Shops and take the file you want to them. They will print it.. Might be oh, $25 for the finished product. No joke, it's actually in demand. If there isn't one around you.. You might want to think about opening a shop... LoL TRI0N
  8. It's nice that the new eisy has a wall mount for the entire setup. On of the reasons I wanted to get this up out of the way from the rackmount and from other EMF problems. TRI0N
  9. Yeah it's pretty much mimicking Insteon Device status with no light configurations and such for each button. Maybe just needs more work. I have written some ideas down for some programing to eliminate the 2 for off till I have a better solution. The lights can wait. I might go with a different scene controller if one should become available. I'm a bit surprised there isn't a better selection of Z-Wave with S2 Scene Controllers. So I will test it at the house then will implement it here at the office. TRI0N
  10. It's still messed up. UDAC doesn't report the state of the other buttons. But it only shows the Binary as on or off and the other buttons show nothing at all for their status. If I was to guess I'd say it's just missing important status and info which would explain that the default of 1 for On and 2 for OFF isn't being written to just on/off when programed. TRI0N
  11. The big button is either Direct Wire which it is for the Odd Number (every other light) of Kitchen Lights I have. I Actually used that for a reason in the event of an outage with the ISY the kitchen lights can still work. Otherwise you could just hook up Line/Neutral/Ground and just leave the Load off for Scene 5 that will use the larger button. You can even apply scenes to that in conjunction to the direct wiring. Reason why I use mostly Kasa over Z-Wave any day for single pole, 3 way, outlets, power strips, color lights (and HUE for outdoor), etc. I only use Z-Wave for 2 things. Scene Control and Hidden Relay. That's it and it's proving to be worthless with this these new UD devices. There sure isn't much Z-Wave Plus Scene Controllers on the market if this brand isn't good. One of the reason I choose this was for it's S2 ability and pretty much it was the only multi button one out there. TRI0N
  12. Oh really? 2 for off? That's just weird for the LED properly displaying it's LED. The LED should represent being off so it can be seen at night. I do believe there is the ability to program these LED's however not a CHANCE IN HELL via eisy obviously. So now I have to figure out a way to program the LEDS to either be on at all times or to represent their power state. Kind of getting really, really frustrated with this upgrade. World Leader in Headaches is about right. We are now nearing $2,000 in equipment just to replace Insteon with things that don't work worth a (Steam Pile Here). TRI0N
  13. I have the ZEN32's I'm installing to replace my Insteon Scene Controllers. However I can only get the buttons below to "turn on" a scene by assigning that button as a control to the scene of the lights I want to control. There is no way to modify the RGB colors of the buttons, you can't turn off a scene just by assigning that button as the controller to the responders of a scene. It can only turn them on. Which leads to yet another problem of if the lights turn off by timer that I have set, the button does not default back to it's original state with the light on. So now if I press it with the light off it turns on and the light on the button is on. Which is super silly. Main button is actually connected to Line/Load for the main recessed light fixtures so that has no problem whatsoever on controlling the lights. What I need this to do it very basic but it don't turn that scene off or reset the button led if the scene is turned off. What I want it to do: 1) Main button (biggest one): Odd number of recessed light fixtures control for kitchen (LED Blue) [IS as Button 5 if you want to add scenes to it] 2) Scene Button 2: Even number of recessed light fixtures control for kitchen Z-Wave Single Pole Relay (LED Blue) [ID as Button 1 in UDAC] 3) Scene Button 3: Kitchen island pendent lights Z-Wave Single Pole Relay - Direct to Lights) (LED Green) [ID as Button 2 in UDAC] 4) Scene Button 4: Under cabinet lights Z-Wave Single Pole Relay (LED Yellow) [ID as Button 3 in UDAC] 5) Scene Button 5: Not Used as of yet. [ID as Button 4 in UDAC] TRI0N
  14. This fixed the issue with Kasa on the work box. Will have to test this on the home box with Govee and HUE Node Servers. But yes the re-install worked for Kasa Node Server Devices under 5.5.4 TRI0N
  15. Not sure why I would want to do that if PG3 is working just fine from the PG3 Admin? The Kasa is a $30 license I'd rather not mess with right now if it's saying it's working just fine on the PG3 side. TRI0N
  16. Well that's not good at all. I can't restore back to 5.5.3 from backup that I made before doing the Update Packages to 5.5.4 it just remains as 5.5.4. with all issues still being blanked out in the UDAC. TRI0N
  17. This is a migration setup so far to replace the ISY994izw's. I did the Update Package on the work system box that had the same results except the work box is strictly Kasa and Z-Wave Plus devices. So it's only running one PG3 Node server on that one. I still have a few other node servers to put in for the home system. I was focusing on just lighting for now. TRI0N
  18. PG3 is running fine. Shows green across 3 node servers. Plus Main Status reports connected. I can see all the nodes in the lists. Nothing missing. TRI0N
  19. Well snap, that's not good. Update and all 31 Kasa Devices no longer report status or the ability to control them via UDAC. And just checked Govee devices and they too went blank. Tried refreshing, tried querying each device individually, tried reboot... Will have to revert back to 5.5.3 from backup. TRI0N
  20. Spoke a little too soon. Updated to 5.5.4 and see no Schlage Lock Node. I also notice all the statues of my Kasa devices have gone blank and even if I query it not longer shows their information for ANYTHING. Ugh! Maybe DO NOT UPDATE PACKAGES just yet? TRI0N
  21. That's good news! Because that is what I have for a lock on my main house and that was important to have when I issue a home lockdown verbally to Alexa. I was not aware of problems with that node server in eISY. I haven't gotten around to migrating that hardware over to eISY just yet but it was getting real close. TRI0N
  22. Check your programs tab for whatever program is checking the status of your old ISY when ran and update it with your eISY from the list of devices if even needed. TRI0N
  23. The "Enclosure" is just for those that are upgrading from Polisy boxes that already had the Z-Wave add-on. The Z-Wave board can be removed from the Polisy and put into the USB Enclosure to be used with eISY. You need the following if you do not have the Z-Wave Add-On for an existing Polisy. https://www.universal-devices.com/product/zmatter-usb-z-wave-matter-module-for-polisy-beta-copy/ That comes with everything you need. TRI0N
  24. Yes I did that step. Purchased Portal, Mange Modules, Portal then installs, and that shows the approve prompt in the AC Portals tab after a reboot. I have of course clicked Managed Modules afterwards to have it say "All Modules Up To Day". Still can't approve the portal connection. I do have a ticket and will perform the steps they suggest on on Thursday about refreshing the Authorization Token below: It's most probably because the authorization token has expired. Please: Login to https://my.isy.io Click on the ISY tab Click on the red x next to your eisy. When remove Go to Admin Console | Configuration tab | Portals, Refresh button Go back to ISY Portal, click on Add ISY, and enter XX:XX:XX:XX <--- UUID HERE Go to Admin Console | Configuration tab | Portals, Approve button For steps 4 and 5, you MUST be local to your eisy. Cheers!
  25. Will test this first thing Thursday Morning when I return to the office. Cheers...
