I would hold off on do anything right now. 5.5.5 is the Spawn of Satan and it is performing horribly at this time. I would wait a more stable release is put out before doing anything and since you are running 6 Node Servers, that's apparently where the problem is right now in 5.5.5 is that it does not like multiple node servers. Be ready for it to stop again. My Node Servers are going up, down, unresponsive devices to responsive devices ever since 5.5.5 so don't expect it to stay that way. I had Kasa stop then started working a day later then stop.. Waiting for it to start again. 5.5.5 is the Devil... TRI0N

Go into your ISY Portal > Select tools... > Logs > Error log. Passwords are shown in here... inside <id></id> markup tags. Thu 2023/01/12 10:38:25 PM System -170001 <s:Envelope><s:Body><u:SetUserCredentials xmlns:u="urn:udi-com:service:X_IoX_Service:1"><val>0</val><name>admin</name><id>MY PASSOWRD IS SHOWN HERE</id></u:SetUserCredentials></s:Body></s:Envelope> Just search for your password (CTRL-F).. LoL - Mine shows up 55 times in that log... TRI0N

Is that suppose to be logging passwords inside the <id></id> tags? I can't imagine why that would be a good idea... TRI0N

Think he was talking about going to eisy from Polisy. So he's going to wait. Also Update: Kasa has again Disconnected. I'll be watching to see if it's consistent with any time frame. It quit last night around 9 PM PST. I'm not sure if the eisy is rebooting before these things decided to start or stop. TRI0N

Well at this time I'm kind of hoping to hear back from the one developing Govee Node Server. I have been playing with 3 of their different models of their Thermo-Hygrometer. I'm actually very impressed with their WiFi model H5179 which gives you a constant update over their Bluetooth models (which I'm impressed with those too for different purposes such as my cigar closet) that do not update constantly. They update every 60 seconds. Downside of the Bluetooth models is that it will require a, what Govee calls a Distribution Gateway. All of their RGBIC lights that I know of come with it build into the controller. Most of their other appliances have one as well built in. This creates a mesh network for devices that are not WiFi. So just a FYI. My understanding is that each Distribution Gateway can support 10 Bluetooth devices each to report via WiFi. However, Govee only supports lights at this time. I really hope to see some development on that going towards other Govee Products. But I do have a Zooz Temp control on the way for testing. I have the Duct Systems parts being delivered in @ month so Govee Dev has a little time to see if they want to put effort into it, I would pay for a Perpetual License for sure if they did focus on that H5179 model. It's a good product. I'm using it to control the Govee Humidifier and it's amazing. But I want to be able to control things outside the Govee Environment (hence A/C Smart Ducts) other than their lights which I can control completely with eisy with ease. I currently using their RGBIC Strip Lights for many things like under cabinet lighting controlled by motion sensors at night, game and entertainment lighting, etc. Updated Note: I forgot to mention that the Govee ones keep a record of readings for 2 months internally in each device. WiFI and Bluetooth. You can export them to CSV whenever you want. TRI0N

That's the plan. I won't be doing anything in UDAC till the next patch. But having Kasa working has got most of my automations working, so that's a big plus. TRI0N

UPDATE: Well that's just really weird. Kasa Node Server just decided to connect. I did absolutely nothing. I was in waiting for next patch and boom some of my routines started function this AM so I checked that it's connected and the devices seem to be responsive. Honestly have no idea why it would just start working without anything actually being done to it. Last thing I did before the weirdness was install a new power bar by Kasa HS300 Smart Energy Monitor Power Strip and made one simple program for one of the outlets to come on between 4-6AM for the Tablet that is hooked up on it. Nothing can be quarried form the Hue devices. I'll wait and see if that kicks in since it's not something I put a lot of time into yet. Honestly have no idea why it would just start working without anything actually being done to it. Yeah I would assume those would only update probably every 3 minutes or 60 seconds. I'm probably going to buy about a dozen of them to put in each room for the Smart A/C I'm building. The A/C are smart as but upgrading it so each room has a automated channeling system based on those sensors. Duct Channels only open to room that are outside the set temps so I see those being perfect for that purpose. TRI0N

Was really hoping for a 5.5.6 Release here today. 80% of configurations/devices are DEAD. HUE - Dead, unless I want to delete/install every time I reboot the eisy Kasa - Dead, I've even tried Joboo Voodoo! Honestly I'm not about to even try delete/install because I have put days into programs and configuring. Doing so again would not be pleasing. I still need to migrate setup the office system once stable at home but until stability is achieved it's DOA. The good news is all the Insteon are swiped out with Z-Wave Plus S2 Devices but scene controllers are half/dead because of Hue/Kasa devices being nerfed. TRI0N
-
Thinking about purchasing this model and what to know if anyone has any tips or advice on this product? I have a eisy with Z-Wave ZigBee/Matter, I would like this to be completely compatible with eisy. Even if there is a different brand any recommendations is welcome. TRI0N
-
Well I would suppose that will fix the Kasa too but I have put way too much work into programs and scenes for Kasa. I guess migration hold and non-functional scenes I'm stuck with till they put out another version. At this point my who lighting is nerfed where timers and schedules were required. Starting that from scratch again will not be pleasing... TRI0N

Okay now it's even worse. I figured why not do a Package Update just to see if anything needs a patch. Well that was almost an hour ago and now the eisy can't even be seen in the ISY Search. It's like Ut Oh. Hard Power Cycle next? Sheesh. Something not right. All I did before all this was add a HS-300 Power Strip and added 1 program to power the tablet socket between 4 and 6 AM to charge tablet. Then went to look the next day at power consumption info and it was not there. So I went to check Poly and it was disconnect. The rest of the Node Servers were fine but two days before just after 5.5.5 it nerfed Hue pretty bad to the point I had to delete it and install. But now even that is not working right with Queries and no device stats. I'll give it another 30 minutes then I'm hitting the Power Cycle to see if that at least gets me back into UDAC. The only server that is actually functioning at this time regardless of the Polyglot Dashboard Status is NOAA. 1) Kasa | Disconnected 2) Hue | Connected but not responding in UDAC 3) Govee | Connected but not responding in UDAC 4) Sun | Connected but not responding in UDAC - Broke As Is - Wasn't working before 5) NOAA | Connected and responding. Z-Wave Devices are responding fine. TRI0N
-
No kidding. I just went to restart Polyglot because now my Hue devices are not querying their status or information and now Polyglot is frozen and won't accept my login. No idea what is going on but the eisy is freaking out. TRI0N
-
Same issue here. Except 5.5.5 nerfed Hue Node Server then 2 days later it nerfed Kasa. Now I'm looking at the logs and find it disappointing that the times are completely WRONG! That helps NOBODY! Reboot Polyglot - NOPE Reboot eisy - NOPE (Re)Installed Kasa - NOPE Honestly the whole logs being completely out of time sync is beyond bad. I have no words for it. TRI0N

It would be nice to see new Govee Products appearing in the Govee Node Server other than lights. I picked up a few Thermo-Hygrometer devices that I wanted to test out. However it appears that only lights strips are being ported into the Node Server. I was also interested in their Remote Switch Button for hidden door or silent alarm type triggers and or just all around scene activators. The Thermo-Hygrometer were going to be used in controlled environment locations in home, 1) Server Room and 2) Cigar 70/70 Closet but I also was thinking about using them for other ideas, pool room climate information, etc. It would be nice to see more of their products showing up. UPDATE: What I did to restore Hue Node Server. 1) Close out the UDAC. 2) From our Polyglot V3 AC Delete Hue 3) Get ready to install Hue by selecting in the Node Server (Don't Press Install Button Just Yet). 4) Press HUE Button in your Philips Hub. 5) Install Hue Node Server Once I reopened the UDAC. Everything appears to be exactly the way it was before. I didn't need to add anything. Thanks to auger66 for his experience in the same situation. TRI0N

I'll give that a whirl. I'm not sure about the need for the IP parameter since the HUE is on a static lease from the router and I did think about that by adding the parameter "ip" (no quotes) with it's static IP address for the value and that didn't change anything. But I will perform the Delete and Install procedures and will add that parameter if it's needed for static leases. Will report back after my findings. Luckily, I didn't do any HUE work yet, like programs or scenes, so I didn't lose a whole lot of transitioning work. Just had the Node Server setup and the devices identified. I installed a HUE Recess Color Light in the front bathroom shower and it was on my next to do for transitioning. LoL TRI0N

Odd thing is there is no Log for Hue. All of the logs are empty as if they don't exist. TRI0N
-
I say UDAC to refer to Universal Devices Admin Console so there is no confusion about any other back ends. I've tired restart, stop, start, Reboot Polglot 3... Reboot UD eisy... May try some Joboo Vodoo next... The HUE Hub has been on a static IP for ages so it's not a IP change. The HUE App on my phone is working fine too. Good News is that I have not gone any further than discovering the Hue Lights. I have no programs or scenes that are specifically Hue related yet. So anything can go for options on fixing it. No series loss. TRI0N

Just a note: v 5.5.5 Update effected the Hue Node Servers ability to connect. This was not an issue in previous updates. The press Hue Button and Re-Install also is not working when Hue dropped pulling device information in 5.5.4. This just refuses to connect. TRI0N
-
Once updating eisy to latest the Hue Node Server is no longer connected. Transition from pervious versions didn't cause the connection to fault. Any idea? re-installing does not help. Thanks, TRI0N

Not seeing this issue I just ran across after Update Packages to 5.5.5 and now I can't seem to access the UDAC. I got the following: So I figure I'll just head over to the UD Site and use the My ISY Link to grab the latest start.jnlp after making sure all the old ones were removed. No go, I get the same message every time I try to launch the UDAC. No idea why It what's up with that. That always did the trick in the past when the start.jnlp needed to be updated to connect to newer versions. Oh and yes that 5.3.0 is the old 994iZW that I'm migrating out and uses it's own version of the start.jnlp on a completely didn't MacPro System so it's NOT any conflict with an older version being present on this Windows 10 system in question. Thanks, TRI0N

You can get one of these: https://www.kasasmart.com/us/products/smart-plugs Plugs: EP25, KP125 and KP115 are Energy Monitoring ones that could be useful for just about anything you want to monitor its individual power usage. Otherwise the EP10 and HS105 are idea for just on off remote or scheduled needs and yes they work fine in eisy but requires the Kasa Node Server that is a $30 Perpetual purchase, but well worth it. Doesn't require a HUB, DOES require WiFi and you can power the device on off for a cold boot when needed from ANYWHERE. This is no different then the "Remove Power Supply" technique used to cold boot device in support. Yeah easy to use. I use these on many things to make sure they get turned off at night. They make Z-Wave ones too out there. I just happen to like Kasa TP-Link and their response via WiFi Mesh Network over other simple toggle switch solutions. Most importantly for the 3 NVR/DVR Security Surveillance Systems. Sometimes they will freeze up after many months of non-stop use. These make it a breeze to hard boot them. TRI0N
