  1. Been using the SCHLAGE BE469 for 3+ years. Solid Z-Wave product. However I would recommend something using the new S2 Security for a Front Door Lock. That's on my to be replaced but I will be looking at SCHLAGE first for it. And it does monitor users by code entry. In the "Access Control Alarm" node of the lock. Though I have not used it for alerts. But I do have a Notification Alert for the Battery Level. TRI0N
  2. Curious on how cold is it in your area. I'm looking at dipping into the 30's F at night max during the winter and can get 110 in the summer in my location. So I wonder if regional climate is playing a part in the failures. TRI0N
  3. Yes cleared Java Cache many times and always do after update. I also remove all the IoX links on desktop before accessing the admin.jnlp after reboots etc. Then it recreates the IoX Link ISY FInder on the desktop. TRI0N
  4. Davis had my eye, but I was looking for it to have all 6 in 1 (lightning). WeatherFlow Tempest has it and my mount location is not some place that will move by vibration being mounted to the back northwest corner of the house roof edge (eave) and high enough just to breach the top of the roof ridge so it doesn't create a lot of frictional surface but enough to capture wind radius. So far Tempest is looking real good. Thanks for the input and if any others have more to share on their own setups. TRI0N
  5. Well with all the information so far, the WeatherFlow Tempest is looking good. I'm not sure if that rain sensor problem has been sorted out with them but that's a pretty important feature to have working. I'll see if anyone has this model below to chime in on any information they can contribute before investing it. Tempest Weather System with Built-in Wind Meter, Rain Gauge, and Accurate Weather Forecasts, Wireless, App and Alexa Enabled (amazon.com) Cheers, TRI0N
  6. Do they make something other than hand held portable weather stations? I'm looking for something to mount on my property. Ah I see they make the Tempest unit... TRI0N
  7. Can you make sure you are using a good cable? Have you tried just swapping the CAT5/6/7 Cable. Whichever you are using. Might want to pick up a CAT6 on the way home just for testing too... TRI0N
  8. What do you all recommend for a good little home weather system that I can tie into eisy via PG3x? I would like something that has the most data and features. $200-$300 range... TRI0N
  9. That is correct that is the Default 24 Preset Colors for Hue. There is a much larger Hue Color Library but that is only based on their custom scenes and custom color names. Like "Snow White" which is just a dimmed version of White. TRII0N
  10. It happen most often when you create a new group then go to add the recipients. You then you get the select type with Regular Email as default and I click add at the new record prompt does not pop up. I have to cancel and do it again till it works. If I try to click the area where the normal prompt would appear I get this: I've been currently using the IP/admin.jnlp way to insure it's using the correct admin at all times. I had issues before with the start.jnlp not updating correctly from the My ISY. Edit: Was able to capture the other weird behavior where the entry box pops up but you can't edit it that new entry line. Here it happens when adding to existing group. Sometimes you can double click an existing then double click the new entry to make the I Beam Courser Appear. Sometimes you can't. PS - When you can actually select it the I Beam Appears when you take a Window+Shift+S capture. The Shift make it select the field by default. So here is an example of it working correctly after pressing Add button: TRI0N
  11. Experiencing UI glitches inside the Notification System when adding email groups etc. Sometime you won't get a prompt I cursor to enter information such as adding an email to a group. Most of the glitches occur when creating a new group but will occur when trying to add an email to an existing group. Just have to keep closing and doing it till you get a prompt to enter information. TRI0N
  12. Depends on if your SMS Gateway you are sending too. it's safer to use the full 11 digits. Some SMS Gateways will not add the Country Code if missing. So yes, it's helpful information. PS - It has to do with the FCC implementation of the national suicide hotline that occurred in October 2021 and other crisis numbers released in 2022. Just sending the 11 eliminates problems. Most metro areas don't even use 7 digit anymore either and require 11 even for a local call across the street. TRI0N
  13. Just out of curiosity are you attempting to send to a SMS Gateway? Example Sending a SMS via email to a T-Mobile Phone: 18005551212@tmomail.com <--- As of @ a year ago the International Calling Number (1 for USA) is now required even if your are in the USA. PS - That number is actually 1-800 INFORMATION. Another cool trick to know is that if you want to access information (441) of lets say East Los Angeles and you live in New York. You would simply use the area code you wish to obtain a 411 Operator. Example for East LA: 1-909-555-1212 would gain you direct access to the 909 411 Operator. TRI0N
  14. Yes that is perfect of a delayed light inside that time frame. Kind of looked like he was just experimenting with the programing... TRI0N
  15. You don't need to check if the Living Room Lamp is on. Simply just make the "Then" statement Set 'Living Room Lamp' Off and that will do what you need. Regardless if the light is on or not it will schedule it to tun off. If you want it to turn off at 5:10:00AM. The only time I check a light status is on in the IF statement is to check if another light is on. Such as my under cabinet lights. If the main kitchen lights are on, they don't turn on when motion is detected. Doing so this way you can force a light to behave that way during that time by using the else statement regardless if someone turns it on/off Manually. An example would be; lets make sure the porch light is always on no matter what the status of the switch is at night. I use Sunrise/Sunset for that and the "Then" is Turn Porch Light Off, "Else" is Turn Porch Light On. So if someone accidently presses the wrong switch in the entry it will turn the light on/off respectively on the next status cycle. TRI0N
  16. Negitive works... Okay it's good and matching info from timeanddate.com so looks good now.. Even works with the elevation parameter so that is a plus too. Elevation no longer seems to be a problem and makes things more accurate. Thanks! TRI0N
  17. Does the input for Log take the - sign or does it matter? Example: Long -117.594429 TRI0N
  18. Nice to know Crucial didn't fail. @Snibley pay attention to those brands listed. Looks like Kingston is one you want to stay away from. Samsung Western Digital Crucial Seem to be brands with best compatibility. TRI0N
  19. Did it come with the NVMe Peg/Riser Screw (to board, keeps NVME up off board below) and Mount Screw (to Peg/Riser, holds NVMe in place) in place or did you have to obtain them? BTW: Great find on that image. I couldn't find a damn thing... LoL TRI0N
  20. No not all NVMe are the same sizes. However, most boards will accept 2-3 different sizes. They are all .087" wide however the riser screw port can be moved to 1-2 other locations to accept smaller boards. However I do not see the spec for eisy NVMe recommended size. They say 1TB expansion is possible so I'm going to guess 2260 because it's less than 2.5" long and. I actually need to see the board which I have not seen what it looks like yet, if it is length wise or dept wise along the pc board. It could be a 2280 which is more idea to fit the length wise being 3.15" long. I'm strongly leaning toward the 2260 with single M Key... Even though the 2280 uses the same M Key it's more of something you would find in Desktop/Laptop PCI Interface but these eisy's come with 2 HDMI's so you never know they might be using the newer size 2280. I'm afraid this might be an answer only UD can answer since there is a lack of images (none) of what the internal board layout looks like. I personally have no reason to install a NVMe. TRI0N
  21. Node Servers I have running: Kasa: All Good HUE: All Good Govee: All Good NOAA: All Good - Seems to be populating it's data more effectively now. Sun: Connected but, no data, everything is zero. Otherwise this is looking very stable. All programs are functioning as intended other then my blinds and Sun Node Server at the moment. TRI0N
  22. I installed the SUN Node Server on eisy v5.5.7 | PG3x 3.1.22 but it isn't pulling anything. Reports that is is Connected inside UDAC and in PG3X. Just everything is at zero. I tried removing the elevation configuration line but that didn't do it. TRI0N
  23. Yeah the stats are nice to have so I can send a notification when batteries are low on such devices. TRI0N
  24. This doesn't look like a ZEN32 node. ZY 149 looks like a motion sensor to me... TRI0N
  25. Refresh your Z-Wave device since update. Nodes may appear. Right click the Z-Wave Device for menu, Z-Wave > Refresh This should repopulate any missing nodes. TRI0N
