Very smart it doesn't unlock. I had my garage door working on my Alexia and if standing outside the house could get it to open the garage. Michael

I have kids that forget to close the garage door when they come in. I currently have the garage door on Insteon control with an I/O LINC. What I would like to accomplish is the garage closes if no motion for 10 minutes if it was open. Would these programs work? I have four BE469 Schlage locks at the entry doors to my home. I like to get a notification when someone comes in, and what code was used. The notification would need to be specific, i.e. code 3 is Quinn opened Door X. I have a program set up to send a notification on one of the doors, and a custom message depending on which code was used. I am wondering is this where variables come in and anyone want to help point me to a thread that might help me so I don't set up one for each door and code. This is my sample program that I am currently using, but really don't want to do one for each door and person. Quinn Front Door Code - Program If Status 'Doors / Front Door' is Access Code 3 Then Send Notification to 'Quinn Notification' content 'Quinn Door Open' Send Notification to 'Default' content 'Quinn Door Open' Send Notification to 'Rebbeca' content 'Quinn Door Open' Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Thanks very much for helping a newbie out.

Stusviews, I have the KPL-B buttons and the Schlage lock in a scene, both are responders. This is my program Front Door Status KPL If Control 'KPL Buttons / Becca KPL.B' is switched Off Or Control 'KPL Buttons / Michael KPL.B' is switched Off Or Control 'Front Door' is switched Key/Manually Locked Then Set 'Front Door' Lock Set Scene 'Front Door Deadbolt' Off Else Set 'Front Door' Unlock Set Scene 'Front Door Deadbolt' On The KPL buttons are in toggle mode, is that correct? When I hit the B button on the KPL button that lock unlocks, and only the button you pushed lights up, other KPL B do not light up. I also can't relock the door. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Mike D, would you mind sharing your Scene in how you get the KPL to report the status of the locks? I am having trouble getting them to report status correctly. Thanks

Am I just crazy, or can you not set a FanLinc as a controller in a scene? Trying to get it to turn on the light on the corresponding KPL buttons? Thanks

I wondering if I could install this on my hose waterline before the spigot, and set up a program that would tell me if the hose had been on for greater than 20 minutes. A few weeks ago, I left the hose on for 14 hours and overfilled my pool.

I installed a new 2486D 5-button KPL and added it to many scenes, but they don't work. I have one that show the status of the garage door, and if I hit the button it will open or close it. Is there a trick to the new KPL?

Any thoughts on how to do this with Verizon text message?

I just stopped getting email notifications yesterday also. I was using default.

Boat, Use the KPL button as a responder to the switch in the scene. I use this to tell me if the garage door is open, or exterior lights are on.

Upgrade when fine, just need to be careful to follow the new instructions.

I want to make sure that if someone turns any one of the four exterior lights off between sunset and 10pm they turn back on. Was it correct to put the And statement after the time? I ended up going over to the factory store and got the parts to use a hardwired sensor, and will try and get them installed this weekend.
