  1. I have gotten this in the past and my fix was. 1. Reboot Router 2. Reboot ISY 3. IP Address is back. I think it is more sometime the router and ISY get traffic and don't talk.
  2. How does the flood light know it is him, and not a bad guy!
  3. After reseting the Router and keeping the WHS off the network, everything is fine. I have the ISY on a port above 1500. I am going to plug the WHS back in today and hope the reset worked for everything. Keep your fingers crossed.
  4. Michel, I was surprised by all the port foward rules I had, so I reset my router and am reprograming it. I will let you know if this solved the problem.
  5. Michel, The lights don't go away, looks like the ISY and the router only talked for about an hour after I reset both yesterday. Thanks for your help in fixing this.
  6. HELP!!! Ever since I installed the WHS on my network, which took over the port 443, my ISY is getting an error every night. I have moved my ISY to port 1501, and confirmed that nothing else is sharing it. It works fine, and then sometime during the night it gets the red error light with the blinking memory light. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I am running 2.7,13 and have port forwarding open in the router. Thanks
  7. It took me about four tries but it installed and is working fine.
  8. Illusion, I see them, will need to check it out. I have been lucky it has worked great on 443 for years, so never focused back on this thread. Thanks for the heads up.
  9. I have several KPL that turn the master on and off from a scene. Maybe you should factory reset it and try again. Michael
  10. Michel, I wiill move it tonight, after I reset the ISY or PLM. The problem is with these errors is I can not get into the ISY at all. Thanks Michael
  11. I installed a Windows Home Server in the house and it also wanted the port of 443, so I moved the ISY over to 444. Since then I have been having problems with the error and memory light blinking on my ISY. (Problem Communication with Network Error). Anyone know if it has to do with my changing the ISY over to the 444? Thanks for the input.
  12. That is strange, had no problem with a new one on 2.7.11. Might want to factory reset it and try again.
  13. Cj, I tried you link and I am not getting that message. You might try clearing the Java and updating to the most current version.
  14. It might be your firewall on your computer, happens to me. I was using MicroTrend and since I have moved to something else, it hasn't happened.
  15. AnthemAVM Great and thanks so very much for the update. The one I have has a little green LED inside. Where do you see on level and ramp rate? ------------------------- With kind regards, Michel Michel, I am seeing this in the admin console under devices.
  16. Michel, I linked in a 2421 today, that I had not used for a month. Got it to link fine. What I was wondering is should it have a little light next to it, I was expecting to see the same as the MS. I was also surprised to see that it has a ramp rate and on level. This was done in 2.7.11. Thanks

    New KPL's

I was wondering the same thing, always love to head over to the factory store. Michael
  18. Oberc, Would you need to set one of those to on? Michael
  19. Upgraded from 2.7.10 to 2.7.11, went perfect and didn't loose anything from 2.7.10. Thanks
  20. Since I am on FIOS and my IP address changes, was wondering if we could create a script to run and email if my IP address changes? Thanks
  21. Rand gave a quick answer to this. I went back and reread your original post, and here's some additional info based on what I think you want to do: - You have some kitchen lights and a KPL-A button. - You want KPL-A to turn them all on when it's turned on. (And presumably turn them all off when it is turned off.) - You want KPL-A to light up when any of the kitchen lights are turned on individually. And turn off when the last one is turned off individually, if individually controlled. Right? Then here's what might work for you: 1) Put all your lights in an "all kitchen light" scene, as responders. 2) Put KPL-A in that same scene, as a controller KPL-A will now turn the "all lights" scene on and off, and the KPL-A light will go on/off accordingly. You probably already have this part done. So now you need to address the other desire, to control the KPL-A light for the other conditions. Continue... 3) Put KPL-A in a scene by itself as a responder (in addition to the scene it's already in above as a controller). You can now control the KPL-A light independently of the "all lights" scene by turning this scene on/off. If you want KPL-A to be on whenever any of the lights is on, and off when they are all off, then this program is one way to do it: If Status 'kitchen light 1' is not Off Or Status 'kitchen light 2' is not Off Or Status 'kitchen light 3' is not Off Then Set Scene '[KPL A]' On Else Set Scene '[KPL A]' Off By using Status in the program, it monitors lights no matter how they're turned on/off. By using "not Off" then the lights don't have to go all the way on (100%) to trigger the KPL-A light. And, of course, the "all lights" scene still works as expected. One nice side benefit is that KPL-A can always be used to turn all the lights off even if only one of them has been turned on. I hope this helps and makes things more clear. It's very similar to functionality I have running in my own setup. --Mark Mark, Thank you very much this worked perfect. The only question is why the else statement?
  22. The KPL button must be part of a scene for the ISY to control it. If you want to control the button light independently of any other device, then put it in an ISY scene by itself. If it's part of other scenes, then it should behave as you expect in those scenes as well, as either a responder or controller. --Mark Mark, Thanks for taking the time to respond. What is the connection between having the KPL is a scene by itself and the scene that turns the lights on and off?
  23. No this is a KPL 6. A is not the load on the KPL, I call that On(Top)Off(Bottom) A is part of the 4 buttons. So how would you control just the light, not the switching? Thanks
  24. I have it set up in my house that any KPL A turns on the kitchen lights. When anyone turns them on via the KPL all the KPL A are on. If someone turns on the kitchen island lights, the KPL A doesn't light up. I could go put a program that if X is on, turn on KPL A. The problem is that turns on all the kitchen lights. I was just hoping to be able to have the KPL A Light on if any of the lights are on. Seems like I can't figure out how to control just the light as any program just turns on the switch. Any ideas? Thanks
  25. Why such the rush to get past 2.7.10?
