Once I receive my new iPhone 5. I will be more than happy to Beta test for you and supply constructive feed back. Having more options is always better than none! What were some of your key elements you wanted to improve upon? Teken . . .

Alf, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your personal experience with respect to this generator. I have a few questions for you though as it relates to this incident. How long has the generator been in deployment in your home? Did Generac resolve this issue once you made it known to them that this fault had occurred? What was the cost for the VR device and did you replace it yourself? As apostolakisl stated, I would be keeping an eye on all of the electronics in your home for potential failure. Teken . . .

I would love to use this application as well. If the OP could repost a valid link to the application it would be greatly appreciated. Teken . . .

As a point of reference: I have a few older KPL dimmers in place. I initially used a standard CFL at that location and all was well. During this summer, many thunderstorms have come and gone, at least three times when the power came back on, I found that the KPL was making a terrible screeching noise! It was determined that the CFL was causing this screeching noise to appear at the KPL. I have no doubt these 3 events may have shorten the lifespan of the KPL dimmer. I of course replaced the standard CFL, with a dimmable CFL, cycling power on and off at the breaker to simulate a power failure has confirmed all is well with the new CFL load. I was fortunate enough that someone was home at the time to shut off the breaker, and than remove the CFL loads until I got home to inspect and review the problem fist hand. I can't say that a fire could have started, but know first hand that the KPL and attached load could be damaged given enough time. Teken . . .

I am using high output rechargeable AAA batteries so I don't have to worry about long term battery costs. Teken . . .

No support will be forth coming in the future at all via UDI? Teken . . .

1. The Mobilinc is designed and scaled for a smartphone. The ISY Admin Console is not. 2. The Mobilinc can change the status of a few Insteon devices to reflect a true state. Whereas the ISY Admin Console can not. Teken . . .

Hello Michel, I finally received the 3 Energy Monitors. Will the next ISY release have the capabilities stated by the SmartHome sales page? Currently I do not see any method to add this device to the ISY at all. Teken . . .

It was time to get a new one anyways! You will have the benefit of a dual band device, while also receiving all of latest improvements in the PLM to strengthen your Insteon network. Teken . . .

Brian, Would you be so kind and start a new thread in the Smarthome forum within this site. To provide a review, and insight, as to your personal experience on this (Energy Monitor) product? Also, I was hoping you would have reviewed the Insteon Bulb Linc. Teken . . .

Hello Michel, Would polling / query the Energy Monitor once an hour be alright? Teken . . .
-
Thank you all for the insight as to the differences in each model. On a related note, is the T1900 just the same unit which includes the humidity sensor? Lastly, are the models which state 28XX are they Insteon compatible? Teken . . .

Hello Michel, Just to be clear: At this point in time I simply would like to see the ability to *see / monitor* the remote temperature of the Energy Monitor device(s) via the ISY controller. My intent is to poll / read this data from the unit and then have them linked to various ceiling / remote fans in the home. Just trying to circulate and move some air around the home as it is a stifling 40'C here in town. Teken . . .

Yes, I was hoping to be able to use the temperature reading from the Energy Monitors as it was indicated by SmartHomes sales page. They indicate UDI support sometime in 2012 but offer no further insight. Teken . . .

You know what would rock? You making a video and posting it on YouTube so we all could enjoy the accomplishment! Teken . . . -
Hello Michel, Will the next firmware release be forth coming by months end? Also, I noted that the SmartHome page indicates that the Energy Monitor will be able to poll the temperature from the unit at some future time. Will that feature make it in this release as I have three of these units arriving by months end. Teken . . .

I don't care what anyone says. Both of you guys rock! Teken . . . -
Any network IP camera can provide you the same access and capability to take snap shots of a moving object. This is native to all CCTV camera systems in the market. Please adjust your expectations accordingly if you require true video security. There is a reason they are under $200.00 as the optics and sensors are rather poor. Teken . . .

I did a preliminary test and hooked light to an inside lamp. No problem with recognition on ISY using LampLinc 2 pin Dim. The light responds instantly with ISY and does dim, but there is a flicker when dimming down. Once light is dimmed there is no flicker. I set it up with motion detector and it works as programmed. So far I am happy with this and will be putting in garage overhead light over the weekend. The LED appears to be the same or brighter than a 60 watt. Can you hear any buzzing noise?? If so can you describe how loud it is? Teken . . .

Greg, Have you confirmed that both legs of your electrical supply at the panel is properly coupled? This requires two dual band devices or a Access Point to complete this task. Also, have you confirmed all noise makers / suckers have been addressed? Teken . . .
