Going through each item costs you nothing but time and going full out to replace a Micro SD card that may be fine is / should be one of the last steps. Please go through the list and confirm each step and if you get hung up or see odd results please do let us all know.

I can only offer a few answers to the list above and some will need more clarification from Michel at UDI / others. - Polyglot: At this juncture to insure stability I would run Polyglot on a separate RPI. Anytime there are issues you would need to reboot and resolve those NS issues which directly impacts the up time and relay of data to other services you have now. - ISY Connection: As of this writing the Polyglot frame work only allows a connection to a single 994 controller. So it might be easier to have another cheap $35.00 RPI tasked to run Polyglot and connect to the other 994 you plan to deploy.

I don't use or know anything about the ELK system but this is common issue with monitoring today's washers. There is always a pause in the cycle and this fools the system into thinking the cycle is complete. Probably the easiest thing to do is place a wait timer to ignore the intermittent pauses so when the system detects what ever the ELK see's it won't keep tripping and talking. What exactly do you monitor using the CT-800 just the amperage which turns a dry contact on-off which tells the ELK the wash is done? If so, you don't have a lot of choices besides using the wait or winding the coil a few more turns to measure a lower current value. Going this route (assumes) at some known point the current will say be a quarter of the value. Going this route (assuming it works) you know if the ELK declares a wash cycle complete - it's actually done! I've never had a false message where my system tells me the various systems from clothes washer, dishwasher, dryer, furnace, fridge, freezer, defrost, sump, etc is on vs off or how long it's been running for. Than again I don't use a current (amperage) measurement to flip a dry contact either as it's not 100% reliable.

Welps, since you can't get the same 4 smoke (please use some Google Fu) via Amazon, eBay, etc. You never know you just might find that older 4 wire smoke hanging around. Regardless, let's assume such a beast doesn't exist or can be found. I would be very curious to see (IF) you could temporarily replace the speaker with another (different) one and see if it makes that pop noise. If your alarm system is under contract you have done more than needed and would pass the piton to them to identify root cause and offer a fix. If you have access to the programming I would be very curious to see if you moved that fire zone (zone '8') to say zone 5 and what the results were.

There is literally only one sensor to cover the entire home? Can you show me this speaker you have for this alarm system? It's possible this new 4 wire smoke sensor has some electronics which is back feeding into the alarm panel. Pull out the EOL resistor (panel will cry so get ready) but let me know if you hear that turn table pop!

How many smokes are in the system and what are the model / brand? A quick test (not really) is to disconnect all other smokes and leave the trouble one in place. You’re doing this to verify not only it’s the replacement smoke. But interactions it has on the existing alarm panel. So your mission should you so choose. Disconnect all working smokes, install the bad one. Restart the main panel (call CS to place in test / maintenance) and report back if the pop is still there. If the system is as old as you say one of several first things I would check is wiring. Ensure all inputs are pulled out and screwed down again. Unplug any transformers and reseat keeping in mind if you see one turning brown well it’s time. This applies to the back up battery. If you haven’t done a monthly / yearly load test. Meaning balls out trip the alarm and time how long it will literally run. You will never truly know the operational status of the system. This in no ways means even if the battery gives you an hour if said battery is breaking 5 years - replace it. Most of the lazy installers place the EOL resistor at the panel - No! None of what you propose will do anything. You can however use more / less scenes. You can also consider reviewing how your programs integrate with the system. A communication issue can stem from dozens of things and doesn't always point to the PLM. In the WiKi there is a link count generator which gives you a rough idea if you're *Physically* reaching that limit. You may or may not be aware the primary issues with the 2413S PLM is bad capacitors. So, unless its the most current release it may be that 2413S PLM is simply failing and has nothing to do with link count. Then again if you have specific comm issues so call them out like if a light turns on but doesn't. This could be a hardware issue, noise maker, signal sucker, etc.

Given the Node Server framework and integration I can't see myself ever going back to using Network Resources unless I had to. I'll freely admit the whole Plug & Play of the Node Server once over the hump has me sold and impressed. Does it have more room to grow and iterate ~ for sure! But, given where many us came from where there was no API, no network module, to published API, network module, ISY Portal, Polyglot, and now Polyisy. I'm not looking back to 1986 other than to see rat tales, zippered jeans, MC Hammer pants, and big hair!

@Bumbershoot Please confirm NodeLink hasn't been ported over to support the Polisy because of a certificate / other issue? I don't believe there is a time line for this because there is some kind of Chicken & Egg situation happening?

The one you reference is it the T6 Z-Wave enabled TSTAT? If so what are you looking above and beyond it showing up in the ISY Series Controller?

Nice! This weekend I plan to drop by the local Best Buy and play with all of the available TSTAT's. Once I get an idea of physical form and function I'll watch some You Tube video's for any reviews along with pro's / con's of each. I have been living without a so called *Smart TSTAT* since day one so it's not going to kill me to take a little bit longer to find and decide on one. There are probably five times more selections when compared to just four years ago but find some of the one's that really interest me seem to have just one missing feature or dependency. Let the games begin . . .

Love it . .. Many years ago (what seems like decades) I was never really a stats kind of guy. Now, fast forward 2020 being able to capture factual data on the various systems is one of the key decision makers when considering a purchase / integration. The problem that arises is what kind of data is important to one person may not be to another.
