  1. Hello Mr. Ringström, Thanks so very much for the how to and, yes indeed, we would love to have you include it in the Wiki. Would you be kind enough to send an email to support@universal-devices.com? Also, it would be best to export your rules and have them as Zip file which everyone can import into their ISY and then simply change the IP. Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi Tim, As far as low battery, please try doing a query on the low battery node. As far as dusk/dawn, please do make sure that the sensitivity for dusk/dawn is set properly using the Set Option button. With kind regards, Michel
  3. Hello RBC, Unfortunately I think you may have a corrupted SD Card. The choices are limited as it's not easy to change the SD Card on ISY26. Furthermore - and based on your explanation - I am not entirely sure that your old backups are OK. Anyway, we'll send you an email with possible options. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Jeff, Great! Ah, BlackBerry is pretty much very difficult to setup. All you do, please make sure that you do not lose your certificate store's userid/password as it will make your phone inoperable. With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi LeeG, thanks so very much. You are 100% correct. sanders2222/scotnor, thanks so very much for the logs. We got them and are going through all of the entries one by one. bocarob, those ports are pretty common ... please try using port numbers higher than 2000 if you want to customize your port numbers. Also, I am certain you are using 2101 as the port in the Admin Console for ELK Configuration, correct (not 2601)? Hi elvisimprsntr, Can you please be a little more specific. Is it all temperature values or some of them. And, if some of them, then which ones? With kind regards, Michel
  6. Hello RBC, I do apologize for tardy reply and all the confusion. Admin Console is simply a Java application which can be served up from any web server. ISY has a web server so you can access the Admin Console going to http://your.isy.ip.address/admin ... alternatively, you can use the website URL. The preferred method is the website since it will SEARCH your network for your ISY and will find it even if the IP has changed. As far as losing your newly added devices/scenes, were they added through ISY or did you manually link your devices? If the latter, then ISY would not be able to find them. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello bocarob, Can you do me a favor? Can you please check your router's configuration and see if there are any port forwarding rules to your ELK and ISY? If so, what ports are used for each? Hi Scott and sanders2222, I think this problem might be related to our SSL 2048 and Chrome. Would you both be kind enough to send me your Error logs? (support@universal-devices.com) With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello AustinKerby, If you do not use httpS, your userid/password are transmitted in clear over the wire. Anyone sniffing your traffic can gain access to your userid/password and then access your system. With httpS, everything is encrypted. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hello RBC, Sincere apologies but would you be kind enough to let me know what URL you use to access your ISY? It seems that the problem is in the UI/Admin Console and not ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello luv2kanu, I am so very sorry for the delay. At this point, I think it would be best to contact our support so that we would save you some time. Just to be clear: 1. You choose the notification type from drop down 2. You click on the Add button 3. You do see an entry listed 4. You update the entry and the hit enter on your keyboard With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello Scott, Are the problems happening on your LAN as well as remote and on both HTTP and HTTPS? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Robert, I think the problem is the HTTPS port number for your ISY. Would you please remove ELK configuration from ISY and try https to ISY again and let me know what happens? Mr. Allen, Thanks so very much! This helps a lot ... the only thing I do not understand is that we do support both Auth Login and Auth Login Plain (as do the servers you have listed). If it's not too much trouble, would you be kind enough to email wireshark traffic between your ISY and the server. Please use a different account and/or remove your credentials. My email address is tech@universal-devices.com . Thanks so very much and with kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello gwarthur, The tutorial you are referring to is for such an old firmware that it no longer applies. Please try this one: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... o_Your_ISY Also, please note that File | Enable Internet Access and doing a manual port forward are mutually exclusive: you do either one or the other. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hi Jeff, In the ISY Finder, you can enter the address/URL for your remote ISY: 1. Click on the Add Button 2. Enter the URL and then click OK With kind regards, Michel
  15. Hi Jeff, Would you please try clearing your Java cache and retry the link: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hi Robert, We are so close in releasing the ELK module that it would not make sense to spend time on providing this variable. This said, if we run into delays, then yes, absolutely. polexian, I do not think ELK module will be in 3.1.7 since 3.1.7 is mainly to fix other bugs introduced in 3.1.5/6. With kind regards, Michel
  17. Hi Kev, Thanks so very much! Do you mind if we post a link to your post in our Wiki? With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hi Jeff, Please try http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/3.1.6/ and let me know if you have the same problem. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello all, I hope you do not mind but this will be a collective response! Mr. Allen, Would you be kind enough to send me the trace/traffic? Or, do you know which authentication method that server requires? I am hoping to have this fixed by 3.1.7. sanders2222 This is quite odd. Are you certain there are NO "Wait" statements in your programs? bcall We are hoping to have 3.1.7 out by this coming weekend. I do recommend holding off since backups using 3.1.6 will be corrupted and basically useless. 3.1.7 will basically be a maintenance release to address some of the bugs introduced in 3.1.5 and 3.1.6 ... plus support for additional devices. ELK module will come out as Beta! ryarber No, the backup bug has no impact whatsoever on upgrading firmware. With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello aaronburnlab, I already replied to your support ticket. The process is quite simple: backup your current ISY and restore it on the new one. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hello all, With sincere apologies: Backups using 3.1.6 are corrupted. Please do ensure you keep older backups and also that you do NOT restore 3.1.6 backups on your ISYs. 3.1.7 should be out shortly. With kind regards, Michel
  22. Hello H2R, Thanks so very much for the feedback which helped us find the bug in 3.1.6 as indeed the backup did have binary conversion issues introduced when we added support for Chrome (and their out of band mechanisms to handle SSL). This has been fixed and it shall be included in 3.1.7. Thanks again and with kind regards, Michel
  23. Hello wrj0, No problem at all. Yes, with new INSTEON firmware, there's an option to send humidity reports (instead of having to solder something). We added support for it and just waiting for verification from SmartHome on the correct bit to set (bit 2 or 2nd bit = bit 3). With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hello C Martin, I noticed that your ticket was assigned. Was there a resolution? With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi C Martin, This is not good. Do you which firmware version backup you were restoring from? We do have your ticket so perhaps it would be best to have a phone support. With kind regards, Michel
