  1. Hi Rob, What is the firmware version of your KPLs? You cannot restore devices using programs. If you have problems with KPLs/communications, restore does not help. Nor do I think the problem you described is going to be solved by restoring. With kind regards, Michel
  2. Hi raydoc, Please click on the scene and then check the on level for the hall light on the screen section to your right. Make sure it's 100%. With kind regards, Michel
  3. robandcathy, please contact our tech support team so that we can help you troubleshoot. j0dan, apart from the scene attribute problem, I am not aware of any other bugs that would cause your INSTEON network to deteriorate. Am I mistaken here? If so - and as I have requested before - please do let us know so that we can find the root cause. If not, please do help us and yourself by disabling all those scene attribute change programs till 3.1.10 is released. As I have mentioned to you via email, the fixes we are putting in place are quite massive and have to be thoroughly regression tested before released. It would be quite catastrophic for us to release a firmware that addresses an extremely rare situation (reported twice) but breaks basic functionality. We should have 3.1.10 released shortly. Thank you for your patience and understanding. With kind regards, Michel
  4. Hi Diesel, Please note the following: 1. Control means that every time motion is sensed, the condition is evaluated to true and the Then section is executed 2. Wait is interruptible ... this means that every time the condition is evaluated to true, Wait stops and execution starts from the beginning of the Then section The questions that you have to answer are: 1. Do you want to be notified every time there's motion sensed? If so, you do not need the Wait and you shall be notified every time the motion is sensed (Wait has zero impact in this case) 2. Do you want to be notified of occupancy? i.e. after n minutes of continuous motion, then send notification. In this case, you want to move the Wait above the Notify statement In all cases, the following tutorial can provide you with more information with regards to motion/occupancy sensing: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... _Bathrooms With kind regards, Michel
  5. Hi Mark, Comments below. With kind regards, Michel Yes, better but I do not think the problems you are having will be solved by 3.1.x Rule id is the ID of the rule being activated. ID is the last field in the Network resource table. So, 2 is the entry with ID of 2 and 6 is the entry with ID of 6 ISY does not validate certificate names except for specific instances such as interaction with a portal server That's the correct behavior since doing https://google.com is redirected (status code = 300/301) to another server. ISY does not follow redirects The first question I have is what do you get if you use a browser and point to https://your.virtualserver.ip:3000 ? If that works, then we would have to figure out if your server is blocking connections from specific hosts. Apart from that, for https to work, all you need is a server which has a certificate and that listens to that specific port for https --Mark
  6. Hello starmanj, You need to upgrade to 3.1.9 and then send your uuid to support@universal-devices.com and we'll reactivate it for you. With kind regards, Michel
  7. Hello easytim, 2413S indeed does have a weaker X10 transmit strength. Is the PLM connected to the same outlet as the modem for Ocelot? With kind regards, Michel
  8. Hello ergodic, The main issue here is that the Motion Sensor is spontaneously sending those messages back to the PLM without ISY doing/sending anything to it. Perhaps one test would be to request a replacement for one of the motion sensors and see if the problem goes away. With kind regards, Michel
  9. Hi matapan, We could possibly change the jar files to have firmware versions attached to them but this would cause major problems on the ISY side: we would basically have to generate a new html for every new release pointing to the correct jar file. With kind regards, Michel
  10. Hello ergodic, As LeeG pointed out, the Motion Sensor is sending a Nack on its own. The only thing I recommend (which I think you have already done) is: 1. Make sure you are on 2.8.16 and above 2. Delete one of the motion sensors from ISY 3. Do a factory reset on it 4. Add it back Perhaps there's a lingering link in there somewhere and this might fix it. With kind regards, Michel
  11. Hello raydoc, IOLincs do have momentary mode (A, B, and C) ... you can configure IOLinc by clicking on the Set Options button at the bottom of the main view for IOLinc in the Admin Console. Is this what you are referring to? With kind regards, Michel
  12. Hello matapan, Unfortunately you will need to do both: 1. Go to different URLs 2. Clear Java cache With kind regards, Michel
  13. Hello jmael, I am sorry for not being more clear: please contact OUR tech support the information for which you will find in my signature below. With kind regards, Michel
  14. Hello starmanj, It's best to have a scene. Programs for individual devices are going to take a lot of time and cause major network traffic. Alternatively - and IF AND ONLY IF - you just want to turn everything off, you might want to use the All Off. To do this, in your program choose My Lighting (or whatever you have renamed it to) and then choose Fast Off. WARNING: it has been reported that some thermostat versions respond to ALL OFF in an unexplained manner. So, you have to make sure your thermostats (if any) are not impacted. With kind regards, Michel
  15. SteveSBE, These are debugging information and are present IF AND ONLY IF you have the Event Viewer on the last level (Device Communications). With kind regards, Michel
  16. Hello SteveSBE, Most of these errors are benign and can be ignored. We have already put a fix in 3.1.10 to suppress those that are benign and only report those that are serious. With kind regards, Michel
  17. matapan, The difference is the source of the request. In the case of Safari, the request is made from the same device (i.e. your computer). In the case of ISY, the request is made from ISY to your computer and thus there has to be rules in your MAC that allow traffic from ISY to communicate with services on your MAC. With kind regards, Michel
  18. Hello mb323, File | Enable Internet Access is mutually exclusive to doing a manual port forward. This means that if you have already one a manually port forwarding, then in all likelihood File | Enable Internet Access will fail. The MAC issue is quite peculiar ... we will have to do some root cause analysis to figure out why it does not work. With kind regards, Michel
  19. Hello mb323, You have to be local to ISY for this application to work otherwise it will defeat the security purpose. Are you local to your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
  20. Hello mrxmas, Welcome aboard! A10/X10 module is basically a cosmetic module; i.e. you can name your X10 devices and you can refer to them by name. It also supports some A10 devices which may require different processing. In no case can you create X10 scenes though (scenes are basically implied in the node address). If you do not care about having named devices, then you can do all the programming without this module through the Programs tab. You can sense X10 signals for conditions and send X10 signals based on all other events available in ISY. With kind regards, Michel
  21. Hi mango, Please do be kind enough to keep us posted. If all else fails, please contact our support team and we'll help diagnose. With kind regards, Michel

Hello stef2, It shall be in our next beta ... hopefully within a couple of week. With kind regards, Michel
  23. Hi Illusion, Apologies ... for some reason I completely and utterly forgot to respond to your original post. You should be able to restore IRLinc TX and ISY will "try" to restore both the link database as well as the IR database. So, hopefully this will fix the problems. With kind regards, Michel
  24. Hi Tim, Please call our support ... this issue has been going on for too long and we need to figure out the root cause. With kind regards, Michel
  25. Hi Starmanj, Unfortunately you cannot increment/decrement LED brightness values. They will have to be listed one at a time in the Then block. With kind regards, Michel
