I use Notification nodeserver and at this point I dont think you can add custom sounds there but I asked (sorry this is off topic).

Another option is wireless tag but you MUST get the Pro model. The normal tags only work left and right and most mailboxes open and close up and down. I used that method but found the batteries due to high heat or low winter temps did not last long and the range was bad. I have had very good results with the Ring Mailbox Sensor but until now I did not use it with the ISY.

Just yesterday I said Alexa turn on kitchen lights and it was one of the 10% of the time she heard me wrong. My son then flipped the switch and said DAD you are literally 2 feet from the switch. How lazy can you be. Honestly I forgot how to use a light switch and when the power goes off or internet goes down thats why I am in a panic. LOL

Ring has a mailbox sensor. If you dont have one it also requires their smart bridge. I like it because my mailbox is at the end of a long driveway and it lets me know when mail is received. Because Amazon owns Ring it works with Amazon Alexa. Problem is its not supported by the API and in addition to that the bridge wont even respond to pings which Amazon says is for security (yet all the doorbells and Alexa devices do. LOL) But I have a hack to get it into the ISY. 1. Setup your Ring Mailbox Sensor 2. Load Nodeserver called Virtual 3. Setup Virtual device called Mailbox Status or something like that. Dont name the same as your actual Mailbox Sensor!!! 4. Expose that to Alexa as an open/close sensor in the ISY Portal 5. Discover Devices IN ALEXA 1. Write a routine that says if open set Mailbox Status (your virtual device) to On 2. Write a second routing for closed. This is a little difference. You say If NO MOTION is detected for how many minutes (I put 5 which may be too long but make sure its at least a minute to give you time to get the mail out and close it) then set the Mailbox Status (your virtual device) to Off IN ISY Now when the Ring mailbox open and closes the Virtual Device will change also allowing you to trigger things off it in ISY programs like Notiifications. Good to know. I am a mac user so maybe its a mac thing but you confirmed its a browser cache issue. Maybe I should update the post and add that in. Hopefully people will read and see this!!! But thanks for the thumbs up on my steps!!!

The only thing I left out was the browser cache issue If you get a message that pg3 not running in red after the reboot try another browser that you have not used with PG3 and if it works then you can clear your browser cache on the original and it should work. One trick that works most of the time is if you add a ? To the end of any URL it forces it to reload without cache 99% of the time Jeff

also see sunroom here. This is Ecobee 2. My others are a 3 and a 4. The two have two nodes that are empty. If I delete them they come back. That unit does not support sensors so no idea what those could be.

Trying to save on nodes since approaching the 1024 limit!!!. Any way to NOT show weather and what about sensors? Maybe some config option would be great.

In the Main level of AC it show F and C for (ROOM) temp but at the bottom the Set Temp is only Celcius. With programs you have the same issue. You must set in Celcius. I assume thats what the API wants but can there be a Config F or C where it converts it in AC? I know I can do those conversions. So not a huge deal but asking (for a friend) LOL

They will be sunsetting O-Auth 1.0. Need to be set to 2.0. I asked them how long and waiting for a reply. Sent my info to @bpwwer who converted this to pg3.

I had this SAME issue last week. I copied @bpwweron the email. It said unauthorized. A full reboot of polisy fixed my issue. Been ok Since.

I went with Keen Home years ago for smart vents mainly because they got 750k on Shark Tank. Most of the time they have done a good job. On my upper level we have an HVAC with ecobee and it would tell me in HOT summer days that it was not able to keep up with the demand. I noticed one room was freezing and another was 85 degrees. Since putting them in I have not had one Ecobee message of issues. BUT. Every once and a while they would go crazy. Spoke to flair a year ago and they said Keen closes the vents at a temp and opens them at the same target temp. So if your target was 72 and the temp was fluctuating right at 72 they would open/close/open close Annoying and it would run battery down. On top of that about every 3-6 months my account disappears in Keen. They have to restore it to their cloud. Most of the time its a random group of people (not just me) but there was one time everyone was out. It takes them WEEKS to get me back online. Now if I try to reset the password it even says no account exists. This started again earlier this week. Now I cant control my vents without getting on a step stool and manually moving them which they warn you not to do too much as it can damage the motor. But some are closed and I need them open. So I gave up and ordered flair pucks (multiple) and vents. Its a plus that this works with ISY as in the basement I close it in summer as hot air rises and open in winter since it gets freezing down there. Even flair only has two options. Temp Set which they go 1 degree above or 1 degee below. So unlike keen a 72 degree temp in COOL mode would close only when it gets to 71 degrees and open back when it got 1 degree above. (opposite for Heat Mode). But with ISY I can put in the other MANUAL mode. Tell the ISY to CLOSE when Ecobee is on Cool setting (Thanks @Jimbo.Automates for the Ecobee Nodeserver and then OPEN when Ecobee is on heat mode. That takes care of the basement. So sorry for the long explanation but wanted to get some feedback to if this nodeserver actually works and any other ideas of how people use it. And while I am in my 30 day return period please tell me anything I should know about Flair. Good or Bad. thanks PS. Read that Keen is being Sued because during covid they claimed that 3M was working with them to get covid filters for their vents. That was a lie. They sold out of product and now none of the distributors will work with them as they fear they wont get paid due to the lawsuit. So try to buy Keen Home vents. Since middle of COVID there are ZERO to buy. With that said I should have no issues selling mine on ebay right now!!!

That looks like the browser cache issue. Try a different browser or computer you have not use to access it and see if you have the same screen. The solution is the totally clear all data for the IP address of your polisy. . But to make sure it’s that issue you should try it browser or a computer that has not accessed it.

Just ignore the error because all the link does is turn on a flag that when you restart the unit it replaces PG 3 with PG 3X it’s correct that there is nothing to display. Just after you get that reboot the polisy and wait

Mine was on the latest firmware and then I ran the PG3x update and it disappeared. Maybe that update ran at the same time but i am 100% sure it disappeared after the latest ISY firmware.

Bob is looking into this nodeserver randomly disconnecting and reconnection (but not in the log) but he said to ask you about the Invalid Driver Errors in the log. I also show one of the Disconnects that does not show in the log. Both log and image are from yesterday (Same day) Going to be out of town so may not be able to do much on this until Monday Ecobee_5-25-2023_91402-PM.zip

This happened to me also but when upgrading Notification NOT the pg3x. You need to go UD Mobile app Click on notifications tab at bottom Click on the gear icon for settings Your key will be there. What I did is copy it and email it to myself so I could get it on the computer to paste into the Notification NS config

Its very strange but I am glad you listened. I have almost the exact screenshot from my machines. Thats why I recognized it. There are TWO steps I told Michel that need to be added to the upgrade procedure. First is to go into the browser and delete all site data for your polisy. (not everything) Then it should work I am a mac user so I think they thought it might be a mac browser issue but mentioning EDGE you probably are using a PC though they do have Edge for mac now. The second is after everything looks fine, reboot polisy one more time. I had some VERY STRANGE ISY issues after the upgrade. Got to the point I could not even access it with admin console. One more reboot and ran for 2 weeks just fine until I did the Manual PG3x update this past week.

. Bob I had that exact issue on both polisy units and it turned out to be browser cache. I downloaded some other browser like opera and it worked fine and then I just cleared all the data in my browser for polisy and then it worked So if I restart does not fix it then try browser.

That looks like the browser cache issue. try another browser you have not used.

It took a while for mine to appear. Like I said at least 30 min. I am worried if you restarted again before its done what will happen. One thing I did not mention is create a backup first!! I did not need it but you can never over backup

Safari worked fine for me. Firefox did not. See instructions I just posted. Worked on two polisy units.
