  1. Yes, it's gets uninstalled when you clear the Java Cache. These are my notes. Load a New JAVA Admin Console on Windows PC ⦁ Clear JAVA Cache from Control Panel JAVA applet ⦁ To load the ISY Launcher. https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp ⦁ Install start.jnlp to C:\Utilities (or where ever you want.)
  2. Looking at the IoX Configuration on the Polyglot V3 web page I get the settings that IoX is using, except the IP would be different from what is shown on this page.
  3. My ISY Integration is using this IP address with Polisy: http://192.168.1.50:8080
  4. There's not much to adjust in the ISY Integration configuration. Perhaps there's an issue with the TLS version in EISY?
  5. For what it's worth I'm using Polisy with Home Assistant and didn't have any issues after updating to 5.9.1.
  6. I still have my 994i. I may try to resurrect it for fun. I wonder if the IoX backup from Polisy would load into it? But, as long as my Polisy works I’m good.
  7. I concur. The UDI Insteon controllers are way better than using Home Assistant directly with a modem. I'm using a Polisy for Insteon but use the z-wave adapter directly with HA. I really wish UDI would resurrect the lowly ISY994i for those of us that don't need all the other bells and whistles. It was excellent at what it did.
  8. Probably so. This is just a suggestion not based on actual experience but a long time Insteon, Z-Wave user. I think you need to add the main switch node of the z-wave switches as controllers of the scene, not those other "z-wave scene nodes". Just a thought.
  9. Here’s another description. What z-wave switches are you using? https://www.support.getzooz.com/kb/article/1259-how-to-use-multiple-zooz-switches-in-3-way-and-4-way-set-ups/
  10. Here’s another discussion on it. https://www.thesmartesthouse.com/blogs/the-smartest-blog/114982596-wiring-z-wave-switches-do-s-and-don-ts
  11. I haven’t tried this but it might be you need z-wave switches that are 3-way compatible. https://aeotec.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/6000247679-3-way-wiring-installation-for-illumino-switch
  12. I’d be happy with a rock solid Insteon hub to use with HA. Long for the days of the ISY. For me, UDI should remake a simple ISY in addition to eisy. When my Polisy dies I may go with the Insteon Hub 2 or whatever version is the latest.
  13. yikes! my memory is shot. I was involved in that discussion and totally forgot about it.
  14. Isn't the All-On condition the result of an All-On command (scene control) being issued by the PLM because of certain random events happening and only older Insteon devices will respond to the All-On. Firmware in newer devices don't have the All-On capability so they shouldn't respond. If true, then get rid of all those older devices and the problem should go away?
  15. my mind is getting old and I can't decipher MS, what is it?
  16. I got hit with the All-On this morning. At least I believe it to be that. It always happens at an inconvenient time, and I just start turning things off and going back to sleep instead of recognizing just what modules are affected. Is there a topic here in the forum that gives a good summary of what this is and some remedies? Thanks
  17. The lowest address I've got "in service" is 05.94.E5 and it belongs to the EZRain/EZFlora Irrigation Controller. But, in the Insteon storage box in the closest are some way older Icon devices. I'm pretty sure I got rid of the X10s. Edit: Just checked the closet and the lowest address is 00.4C.E8 for a LampLinc V2 #2456D2
  18. It shows as out of stock for that particular model that I have. Why would Canada be restricted?
  19. Yes, HA comes bundled with package, see the website. It's the Home Assistant Operating System. I'm not sure about the SSD. It comes with the eMMC memory or SD Card, you choose. Hardware additions to support other platforms like Insteon, ZWave or Zigbee are required. Software to support these devices are written for HA by the Open Source community.
  20. Here's my current system wall mounted in the garage. It's in the garage to have the Insteon PLM near to the electrical distribution panel for better Insteon coverage. For a network connection I added a MOCA Ethernet adapter to a coax cable TV connection that was already accessible to the garage through a wall, . Yolink, HA Odroid with ZWave stick, Polisy for Insteon.
  21. Over a year ago I jumped in with the ODROID-N2+ 4GB/64GB eMMC Enthusiast+ / US 120V/60Hz Home Assistant Bundle. I've never been happier. It runs HA right out of the box with no messy configurations. https://ameridroid.com/products/odroid-n2-home-assistant-blue-bundle-limited-edition?variant=44748729286935
  22. A mix of dual band modules and older wall switches controlling lights. The fact that it’s intermittent I just live with it. I’ve tried chasing these issues down in the past and never find anything other than sometimes (sh)it happens.
  23. Thanks but the issue is intermittent. Generally they always work but then some won’t for a day or 2.
  24. My biggest headache is with scenes. They’re certainly nice when they work but with the electrification of everything now days it’s near impossible to keep all noise off the power grid. Which I guess is the main cause of failures Problem is you don’t know the scene worked unless you’re right there as a witness. Some AI might be nice.
  25. My powerline adapters are on the same phase. in fact, they are even on the same circuit just opposite sides of the room. My powerline adapters are located in probably the best condition ever. They are on the same electrical wire, probably 35 feet long and still I'm only getting half their rated speed. When I tried having the network connected adapter across the house, I was getting less than 250 Mbps on a good day. I never considered that they could have been on opposite phases. At one time I had up to 4 powerline adapters running but the speeds were just too slow and intermittent so I switched to MOCA where I could. I see that you can get a pair of the ones I have on Amazon for $23. You could pick them up, try them, and if they don't work, send them back.
