UDI had me upgrade from 5.5.2 to 5.5.3 and then do a "synchronize/update with interview" on the sensor. So doing created another node for the sensor, ZY 020 Leak Detected Alarm. The new node has a Status field showing in the AC that did toggle to ON when water was detected, however, it never goes to OFF. UDI states that this is a known problem with other Motion Sensors and should be fixed in the next update.

So, is your ZSE42 working correctly or not? I assume it's like mine and no longer has the node that indicates a water detection.
-
So that's the Tilt Sensor ZSE43. Better make sure you are getting a tilting output from one of the nodes. For my water sensor that wasn't the case, and it is not working. I'm in the middle of a Support Ticket trying to figure out why. It also worked fine with the ZooZ dongle and ISY 5.4.5.

Reference: Polisy, IoX 5.5.2 First off there should be a forum for the Admin Console. I'd have a lot to say. Anyway, when I open the new Z-Wave X-Ray window it is always oversized and extending above and below my screen. I have to stretch it left or right and then the top snaps down to where I can grab a corner and shrink it to fit. Too bad it doesn't remember its last size and position. Is there a fix or setting for this somewhere?

I think there are nodes missing. Here's what I was seeing before ZMatter. In my programs then I was using the Water Detected 1 node as the trigger. This was the node that reported water present. You can see that even back then there were nodes that didn't apply to this Leak Sensor. Must have been some Generic template for that class of device. However, somehow UDI lost the recipe when they went to ZMatter or probably more specific version 5.5.2 of the software. I put in a Support Ticket today on it because I'm not sure that UDI is picking up issues as problems they need to fix from the forums.

I'm on Polisy, IoX v5.5.2, Zmatter Z-Wave. Just added the ZooZ ZSE42 Water Leak Sensor that had been working previously when using the ZooZ Dongle. The Interview completed and the Node was displayed. But, I'm not getting a water detected indication in IoX although the ZSE42 does blink the LED whenever water is present. Also, when using the ZooZ dongle I was getting more nodes with one called Water Detected that indicated water present and was what I used in programs. I tried excluding and including the device a few times and was getting some strange results. Whenever I exclude the device it starts to include again right away didn't always show a node but indicated the interview was complete. I used the Remove Failed Node and Replace Failed Node which helped get rid of device listings in X-Ray that weren't good. Anyway, I'm back to having it included with a completed interview and it doesn't behave correctly. Anybody else have this with the ZMatter board and 5.5.2?

So, I have them added now. Tried SmartStart (Add/Remove) from UD Mobile and was able to succeed. I think my issue was not waiting long enough for the process to start. I also noticed in the device manual that it can take up to 10 minutes. It took a few minutes for me. I was used to my other devices responding immediately to the Include/Exclude process.
-
What I see is the AC does not dismiss the Remove Devices popup dialog when it communicates with the device. In this case the popup remains until it times out. Same thing with Device Discovery dialog when adding a device. All my other devices have added to ZMatter okay, this isn't rocket science. I've tried each one multiple times. When pressing the devices button it also changes state to on or off so I figure I'm getting a good button press.

Polisy, ZMatter Z-Wave, IoX v5.5.2 GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Plus Smart Outdoor Switch, 1-Outlet Plug-In (2nd Gen.), Weather-Resistant, Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, for Landscape & Seasonal Lighting, ZWave Hub Required, 14298,Black I was unable to Exclude or Include this Z-Wave device. It was previously working great with the ZooZ 700 series dongle. I've tried 2 without any luck even after factory resetting the devices. I'm wondering if anyone else has had success with them.
-
Ended up abandoning the migration and switched to the ZMatter board where I added z-wave devices manually. Good news is my ZMatter works.
-
Guess I'll give this a try. Backup IoX. Power off Polisy and remove ZooZ dongle. Power up run AC Select AC Configuration/Migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave button. Select "Start using the ZMatter Z-Wave + Beta dongle without migration." AC gets shut down so restart it. Credentials are reset, login with admin/admin. Insteon checkbox is unchecked, recheck and restart ISY. goes into System Busy while updating Insteon device status. taking a long time, about 10 minutes Reset Admin credentials. Exclude/Include Z-Wave devices
-
Well, right now I have the ZooZ dongle and ZMatter installed. I wonder what the AC menu item to reset the dongle is referring to, the ZooZ dongle or the ZMatter board?
-
Do you mean resetting the ZooZ dongle? My ZMatter Board is installed internally to Polisy and not a USB Dongle, or do you call that a dongle as well?
-
So, the z-wave migration from ZooZ Dongle to ZMatter didn't work for me. I'm tired of waiting on UDI to fix things. What's the best approach to do the migration manually. Is it? Backup IoX. Exclude all z-wave devices from the ZooZ dongle one by one. Select Configuration/Migrate to ZMatter Z-Wave button. Select "Start using the ZMatter Z-Wave + Beta dongle without migration." not sure what happens after that

I'm on Polisy with ZooZ 700 Series Dongle and ZMatter Board installed. I've tried the z-wave migration to ZMatter Board a couple times, and it just flat out fails. Everything stops working, Insteon and Z-Wave so I restore back to a 5.5.2 prior backup. I'm curious if my ZMatter board even works. I plugged it in months ago after receiving it and waited for the software release making it usable. So, I've had no experience using it. Is there a way I could test it to see if it works without hosing up my current installation? I have a mix of Insteon (53) and z-wave (12) devices.

I think what I must have done is misread that popup. I remember being confused when I read "unPlug the non-Zmatter Z-wave+ USB Dongle...." My mind missed the "non-" part and ZooZ dongle" and zeroed in on "ZMatter Z-wave+ USB Dongle". I thought to myself "I don't have a Zmatter dongle". So anyway, I left the ZooZ plugged in and clicked OK. That's probably why I had a problem.

@dbwarner5I've read your posts. I had the same issue with my AC credentials being reset. However, nothing worked after that. UDI had me restore back to 5.5.2 and wait for further releases. ☹️ UDI hasn't answered this for me, maybe you can. Should the ZMatter board be unplugged before starting the migration? I have the ZooZ dongle plugged in and the ZMatter board installed internally when starting the migration. I installed the ZMatter board as soon as I got it before it was clear that the migration software wasn't ready yet (IoX v5.4.5 ).

Hi. What ISY and version are you using.
-
I've been using the ZSE42 Water Detected 1 node to trigger a program and it goes on and off as expected. However, the Water Alarm 1 and Leak Detected Alarm nodes continue to stay on. I'm not using those nodes, so it isn't really an issue, but I'm wondering if that's normal and is there a way to reset their states? I haven't found anything in the manual and ZooZ doesn't tend to support their devices on the ISY controller. I'm using IoX on Polisy, version 5.5.2.

Didn’t work for me. I had to restore back to 5.5.2. The Admin Console (AC) shut down when I hit the button. I tried going back in but it wouldn’t accept my credentials. Had to use admin/admin to log in. I let it run for hours thinking it was working on it but nothing. There’s a lot to say but keeping this short. It just didn’t work.
-
No eISY. I was referring to the z-wave migration from ZooZ stick to ZMatter plugin board. BTW, when I selected the migrate (migraine) button the AC shut down. When I tried to log back in it wouldn't accept my credentials. I had to use admin/admin to log in and then nothing worked. It had all my nodes but didn't see the PLM or any z-wave. UDI couldn't figure it out either on a service call, so a restore was used. I may try it again when I have the time.
-
My z-wave migration failed, and I had to restore IoX back to the pre-migration 5.5.2 backup. I'm using the ZooZ Z-Wave USB Stick and the ZMatter board is installed. I have some z-wave devices configured but not plugged in and are marked as disabled. I'm wondering if during the migration the z-wave controller has to communicate with a device, and it isn't plugged in what harm that could cause? Perhaps I should remove those devices from the network before attempting another migration.
-
How about they answer my service ticket and get me back online?
-
My Z-wave migration failed and I can no longer log in to IoX. I’m essentially dead in the water. Put in a service ticket hours ago and no response yet. my upgrade to 5.5.2 from 5.5.0 went okay. After a few hours decided to try the z-wave migration. I have the ZooZ stick and the Matter module installed internally. Only have about a dozen z-wave devices but many Insteon. Just now pulled the plug on Polisy. You can imagine my dismay and disappointment with UDI.

The AC does close. You have to give it some time and listen for the beeps. Mine took several minutes when going from 5.5.0 to 5.5.2. Probably take much longer going from 5.4.5.
