You should try relocating the tabletop KPL to a different plug on a different circuit, that will help narrow down the communication/interference problem. If that doesn't help then do a Factory Reset and then a Restore Device on the KPL

I was thinking of a gas dryer, if your dryer is all electric, 240v, then it wouldn't work.

You can use the Insteon 2423A5 Syncrolinc to monitor the amount of power the washer/dryer is drawing. When the wattage drops to a set level you can have a program email you, turn on lights, etc.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
Techman replied to HEPennyPacker's topic in ISY994
Glad to hear you're up and running. It's probably a good idea to run a diagnostics on all your devices. Right click on a device, click on diagnostics and then click on "Show device links table". After the window is finished populating with the links click on compare which will open a second window. If you then see errors do a "restore device" to correct them. What this does is compares the links stored in the ISY with the links stored in the Device. A restore device will rewrite the links stored in the ISY to the Device. Occasionally link tables can get corrupted -
Correct, set up a scene, add the device with the ramp rate and on level you want Then create a program to call that scene IF time is xx (or any other condition) Then Set scene xxx 100% Else

I think you're missing some link records Try a RESTORE DEVICE for the Keypad If that doesn't fix the problem then do a RESTORE DEVICE for the Togglelinc. Make sure that you don't have any other scenes or programs controlling those devices. -
Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status

Your scene looks correct. If you press the "B" button does the light turn on and or off? If you turn on the light from the togglelinc does the "B" button light? -
You can set the on level and the ramp rate of a device via a program or in a scene.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status

There's no need for a program, just one scene. Add the KPL button to the scene as a controller/responder and add your Togglelinc dimmer to the same scene as a controller. When you turn on/off the scene, by either turning on/off the togglelinc or the KPL button both the button and your Togglelinc will turn on/off Inside the scene you can set your on levels and ramp ramps independently, i.e. one setting if you push the button, another setting if you turn on the togglelinc. You could use a program to turn on or off the scene at a set time or upon some other condition. You could also use a program to adjust the on levels based on the time of day etc. -

The device(s) and the KPL buttons should be in one scene. You then either turn the scene on or off, the KPL buttons and the devices would respond accordingly. I don't see a need for a program unless you want to have a condition that controls the scene. -
You would need to remove the 2 buttons from their respective scenes, and then put them back into the scene that you want them to control. You'll also need to rename the button to correctly represent what they control and finally you need to go to the programs that contain the buttons and update the program(s). Also keep in mind that the "A" button is the only button that can directly control a load.(via the red wire)

Did you add the KPL button to the scene as a controller? -
We've all been there. Not to worry, it only gets better!
-
I had a similar problem. I removed the SD card and cleaned the contacts with a SOFT rubber eraser, put it back in and its been behaving nicely every since.
-
The newer models are only two prong. If you don't need a dimmer you could use the three prong on/off module

Did you put the MS into linking mode before you tried the write? All battery operated devices go into sleep mode to prolong battery. The set button must be pressed for about 4 seconds to put the device into linking mode in order to do a write

You need to do a RESTORE PLM. That will populate the PLM with your data, including scenes, stored in the ISY. NEVER do a delete PLM from the ISY. When you create scenes they are stored in the PLM not the ISY. The ISY issues a scene on/off command and the PLM uses the data stored in the PLM to turn on/off the devices within a scene, this way the ISY only issues one command to the scene rather than numerous commands to all the devices. Its a much more efficient way to control numerous devices at the same time. Any time you make changes to the ISY it's always good idea to do a ISY backup. If you unplug both the ISY and your PLM nothing will work. If just the PLM is plugged in then the scenes stored in the ISY will work.

You're correct. I always thought any change in the "IF" statement would restart the program.
-
Based on the number of devices and scenes It sounds like Rob has some old extraneous data in his PLM. A restore PLM should clean it up.
-
But if the "IF" statement is no longer true, i.e. a condition in the statement changes, then the program gets reevaluated,

I'm running 4.3.1 and have the option button on my 2477D ver 44. Maybe rlanza1054 needs to do a factory reset and re-install on the device

If they're are no ! or no 1101 to the left off the device names in your device tree then you're probably OK. You can always run a link table diagnostics and then a compare for a device if you think you may have an issue with a particular device. If errors show up then do a restore device to correct them. I've also had error messages come and go when doing a restore but all seemed to be OK.
-
If you have any battery operated devices they need to be put into linking mode, one device at a time, then do a restore device. Battery operated devices sleep until put into the linking mode in order to save battery life. Take a look at your devices to see if you have any 1101 next to the device name which indicates that it needs to be written to.

From the screen shot It looks like HamWeather may be the problem
