Seems it could best be used to send out an email indicating that the ISY is back up after a power failure
  2. This is what I get if I type in Riverside (see attached). In the ISY Help > About, Make sure that both your firmware and UI are both 4.2.8. Are you running the latest Java version 1.7 update 67 (the update may vary depending on your browser)
  3. What displays when you type a city name into the find box? If an acceptable station shows then click on save. I'm using Internet Explorer, not sure if there's a Firefox issue.
  4. If you click on the scene name does it show an on level for the kitchen table light to be something other than 0?
  5. If you're using the UDI default mail server it was down for a short while
  6. there's not a separate log for the thermostat. if you look at your ISY log you'll find entries for the thermostat's temperature. you could also have the ISY email you the current temperature every xx minutes, etc. that could be done with a simple program. Update - I just saw your second post. The specs show the operating range for the thermostat as 39 to 104 degrees, so it probably won't work for the freezer
  7. When I entered Bokeelia in the find box it found a station (see attached). Hope you get it resolved.
  8. Easytim some of us have been having intermittent problems with the climate module. when I entered fort myers I got the following results (see attached) If you're still having issues you should submit a support ticket to UDI.
  9. Click on "Find" then enter just a city name in the find box, no zip code or state. Once you have an acceptable station click on it then click "Save" Let me know it that works for you.
  10. No need to contact HW. You'll need to update your ISY firmware to 4.2.8. The latest version of the firmware supports HamWeather.

I've also noticed that some feeds are intermittent and/or there one day and not the next. Try using the closest airport as a location just to see if you're getting updates. The airports are usually the most reliable stations and have the most data. Station KORD is O'Hare Airport.

Take a look at your error log to see if there are any errors related to HamWeather.
  13. In that case you should probably submit a ticket to UDI, they can troubleshoot it for you.
  14. Some of the utility companies don't have their smart meter software up and running and therefore know little about its capabilities. The meter must be provisioned via the utility company software in order for you to read its data via your Zigbee radio. I would try reaching the department head at ComEd, someone there must be knowledgeable. This link has more info on your meter program https://www.comed.com/technology/smart-meter-smart-grid/Pages/smart-meter.aspx
  15. If the GFCI is located in the outlet box that the refrigerator in plugged into and does not serve any other outlets then you probably have a defective GFCI.
  16. drummerfor440 Attached is the installation manual for the smart meter. i210_Installation.pdf
  17. It is one of the new Smart meters that transmits usage data back to the utility via RF. It also allows the utility company to disable your power remotely. Some of the utility companies allow the end user to access the usage data via their web site. It also may be possible to have the utility company provision the meter which would allow you to access the real time data via Zigbee and possibly the ISY (the Zigbee radio module would be required for the ISY). Give your power company a call for more info. UPDATE: The meter you have may not have a built-in Zigbee radio. I believe it uses 3G/4G cell sites to transmit its data back to the utility, if that's the case then you would only be able to access usage data from the utilities website assuming they provide access to end users.
  18. Is the GFCI located in an outlet box or is it a combination GFCI / circuit breaker? If it's located in the panel then you're overloading the circuit. As apostolakisl pointed out you're got way too much on a single circuit. You should run a new dedicated 20 amp line into the garage and probably move the kitchen refrigerator to a dedicated breaker as well.
  19. I'm using 4.2.8 and have no issues that I'm aware of.
  20. Attached is the screen shot when I type in Toronto. Are you running the latest version of the ISY firmware?
  21. Envirogreen No nothing changed other than closing the administrative console, reopening, clicking on find in the climate module, then typing in a city name.
  22. The above post from Larryllix usually resolves the issue when using Windows, I'm not familiar with Safari, hopefully another member will have the answer.
  23. Envirogreen It's not you, there appears to be an issue with either the climate module or HamWeather. My "find" is also not working today. Update: it's now working, it's possible their server was offline for a while.
  24. Which operating system and browser are you using?
  25. Another way to do it is to use two programs. This allows for a more controlled environment and bypasses the relay status. (program one) If Control 'CR112 Sump Sensor' is On run program two (then path) (program two) Then Set 'CR102 Lamp Dimmer' On Wait x minutes Set 'CR102 Lamp Dimmer' Off
