Pulsating LEDs
I had a KPL with a similar problem, a factory reset and a restore device fixed it. What version of firmware is the KPL running. I've noticed some issues with v.40

IOLinc status not updated in ISY unless I query it
Try a RESTORE DEVICE on the Keypad that's associated with the IOLinc

Dimming a scene
You could create multiple scenes with different brightness levels and then call up the scene that represents the level you want.

Network Thermostat
You don't need the adapter. Do a search in the forum for t7900, you'll find several conversations. Not sure what you can do via the ISY and Network module.

Network Thermostat
Take a look at the Venstar T7900. It has built in WiFi and is able to connect to their cloud service but you can disable that function and use it in a local WiFi network environment.

Lost communication
Do you have a red ! or a green 1011 in the ISY tree next to the device in question, if not the try a RESTORE DEVICE on one of the dimmers. Let me know if that helps.

What specifically are you using for a "booster"?

KeypadLinc Custom Buttons
It's was most likely a company in China. I believe they just manufacture the buttons, the etching is done in California.

KeypadLinc Custom Buttons
F.Y.I. Approximately the end of last year Smarthome changed vendors for their buttons. The current white buttons are a few shades darker than the buttons from the previous vendor resulting in a color mismatch with the older buttons and less light shinning through.

What does the ! Really mean and can it be cleared?
You should try relocating the tabletop KPL to a different plug on a different circuit, that will help narrow down the communication/interference problem. If that doesn't help then do a Factory Reset and then a Restore Device on the KPL

Notifications for washer/dryer?
I was thinking of a gas dryer, if your dryer is all electric, 240v, then it wouldn't work.
-
Notifications for washer/dryer?
You can use the Insteon 2423A5 Syncrolinc to monitor the amount of power the washer/dryer is drawing. When the wattage drops to a set level you can have a program email you, turn on lights, etc.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
Glad to hear you're up and running. It's probably a good idea to run a diagnostics on all your devices. Right click on a device, click on diagnostics and then click on "Show device links table". After the window is finished populating with the links click on compare which will open a second window. If you then see errors do a "restore device" to correct them. What this does is compares the links stored in the ISY with the links stored in the Device. A restore device will rewrite the links stored in the ISY to the Device. Occasionally link tables can get corrupted

Fade Up to particular brightness level via Program?
Correct, set up a scene, add the device with the ramp rate and on level you want Then create a program to call that scene IF time is xx (or any other condition) Then Set scene xxx 100% Else

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
I think you're missing some link records Try a RESTORE DEVICE for the Keypad If that doesn't fix the problem then do a RESTORE DEVICE for the Togglelinc. Make sure that you don't have any other scenes or programs controlling those devices.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
Your scene looks correct. If you press the "B" button does the light turn on and or off? If you turn on the light from the togglelinc does the "B" button light?

Fade Up to particular brightness level via Program?
You can set the on level and the ramp rate of a device via a program or in a scene.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
There's no need for a program, just one scene. Add the KPL button to the scene as a controller/responder and add your Togglelinc dimmer to the same scene as a controller. When you turn on/off the scene, by either turning on/off the togglelinc or the KPL button both the button and your Togglelinc will turn on/off Inside the scene you can set your on levels and ramp ramps independently, i.e. one setting if you push the button, another setting if you turn on the togglelinc. You could use a program to turn on or off the scene at a set time or upon some other condition. You could also use a program to adjust the on levels based on the time of day etc.

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
The device(s) and the KPL buttons should be in one scene. You then either turn the scene on or off, the KPL buttons and the devices would respond accordingly. I don't see a need for a program unless you want to have a condition that controls the scene.

Is there an easy way to swap button functions on a KPL
You would need to remove the 2 buttons from their respective scenes, and then put them back into the scene that you want them to control. You'll also need to rename the button to correctly represent what they control and finally you need to go to the programs that contain the buttons and update the program(s). Also keep in mind that the "A" button is the only button that can directly control a load.(via the red wire)

Unable to get KeyPad Linc LED to reflect light status
Did you add the KPL button to the scene as a controller?

Woke up to red ERR light flashing?
We've all been there. Not to worry, it only gets better!

Woke up to red ERR light flashing?
I had a similar problem. I removed the SD card and cleaned the contacts with a SOFT rubber eraser, put it back in and its been behaving nicely every since.

No more 2456D3?
The newer models are only two prong. If you don't need a dimmer you could use the three prong on/off module

Motion Sensor Option setting
Did you put the MS into linking mode before you tried the write? All battery operated devices go into sleep mode to prolong battery. The set button must be pressed for about 4 seconds to put the device into linking mode in order to do a write
