Venstar T1900 + 2441V rev2.2 not reporting Status when its status changes
Run a Diagnostics / Compare for the devices involved to see if you may have lost some links. If so, then do a restore device. If you run the "then" portion of your program does it do what it's supposed to do?

Thermostat or thermometer?
Is the T1900 on your first floor your main thermostat? Is it your only thermostat? You could use an Insteon wireless thermostat on the second floor that could send a signal to the ISY which in turn could activate an IOLinc that would close contacts to turn on the heat.

Java 8 update 71, now scenes commands not working
What type of load is your module(s) hooked up to? I'm using the latest version of Java without any issues

LED degrading over time?
I initially tried using the Philips flat led bulbs and found that they were not that compatible with Insteon devices. They flickered at lower dim levels. I'm now using Cree led bulbs without any issues.

Want to control lights by my cell phone
This is what most ISY users are using http://mobilinc.com/ Here's the info for the ISY http://mobilinc.com/detailedsetup/isy/ If you search the forum for mobilinc you'll find lots of good stuff to read

Power Outage and Weird Behavior
Glad to hear you're mostly up and running again. The 2876SB has been discontinued. If you can't resurrect it then It's probably time to replace it, especially if it's a single band device.
-
Power Outage and Weird Behavior
A green flag indicates that there are pending writes to the device. Either you have a communications problem or the device may need to be factory reset in order to clean up its memory, then do a restore device.

Question Regarding Individual Device Control
It's operating as it's supposed to. If you want to control all the devices in a scene then you need to turn the scene on/off.
-
Power Outage and Weird Behavior
It's possible that the non volatile memory in the devices got corrupted. I've had this happen on several occasions when we've had a power line glitch. Do a restore device which will rewrite the device links with the data that's stored in the ISY

Low Battery Indicator
I had several MS that I believe were firmware version .41. When the batteries were low they started sending continuous on commands, but no low battery signal. I've since replaced them with firmware version .44. I'm using lithium batteries which seem to last about 2 years (in mild climate) so it's too early to tell if the current firmware fixed the low battery problem.

Did I waste $49 on the network package, or is my PLM dying?
What's the date code and version of your PLM? If it's more than 2 years old then there's a good possibility that it's starting fail due to bad capacitors. Run diagnostics, show PLM links table. If the PLM link count is unusually low then most likely the PLM is failing.

Keypad linc
The current versions have updated hardware and firmware. I recently replaced some older KPL's, so far so good. No problems.
-
Keypad linc
This KPL was manufactured the 33rd week of 2009. I's probably best to replace it.
-
Keypad linc
Assuming you have a good electrical connection to the KPL, try a factory reset, restore device. What's the hardware and date code on the KPL?
-
loss of output from keypads
You need the 2413S. the U version is USB. The power supplies in the PLM with your date code have a history of failing after about 2 years. Your unit was built the 29th week of 2013. The current PLM's have improved power supplies and updated firmware You can try a restore modem which may buy you some time but you really should replace the unit.

Help with some INSTEON devices not getting the Off command
rick, run a diagnostics / compare on the modules that aren't turning off. If the results show a link mismatch then do a device restore on that module. It's also possible that once the modules are on one of the loads is creating noise on the power line preventing the module from turning off.

Bathroom Motion Sensor - Lower Light at Night - Problem
Check the time statement in your IF line if should have a "FROM" Your switchlinc should be a controller in your scene. Make sure you have the on levels and ramp rates set for your devices in the scene. Night Ramp Rate Program: If FROM 10pm to Sunrise (next day) Then In Scene MS-Sensor Set Switchlinc 30% (On Level) In Scene MS-Sensor Set Switchlinc 4.5 Sec (Ramp Rate)

Replace switch with a new one
That's correct. Add the new device first, then right click on the old device and do a replace with.... The "replace with" command will show all compatible installed devices that can be used as a replacement.
-
Can't get ramp rate to work with KPL button and Outletlinc
Andy, The problem could be that the devices are manually linked directly with one another and not through the ISY. They should be factory reset then each linked via the ISY link management.

Scenes not firing all devices all the time
I would first focus on the low voltage lighting. If the transformer is not hard wired then you may want to try either a filterlinc between the transformer and the line, or substitute the low voltage out for a led or incandescent load to see if that eliminates the problem.

Scenes not firing all devices all the time
chacvhdog, Did you run diagnostics on the devices other than the motion sensor? What type of bulbs are you using in the fixtures? What type of devices are you using, are they dual band?
-
Replace switch with a new one
The replace has to be a similar device, dimmer switch with a dimmer switch, etc.
-
Scenes not firing all devices all the time
You either have a combinations issue, I.e. either noise on the powerline or poor signal or you may have some bad links in the devices that are not responding.. Run a diagnostics / compare on the device(s) that are not responding. If all is OK then you should focus on the communication issue. Have you added any new electronics abut the time the problem started. Do you have dual band devices in close proximity to your motion sensors?
-
Replace switch with a new one
If your replacing a switch with the same kind, first link the new switch in the ISY then right click on the old switch and click on "replace...."

Think I may have messed up...
There's a current version of the ISY manual, for 4.3.26, at http://www.universal-devices.com/docs/production/ISY%20User%20Guide%204.2.8.pdf
