  1. Are you referring to the server for the Insteon Hub? Can you be more specific
  2. Nokia just licensed their name I doubt they would want to get involved in manufacturing the product. It's going to be interesting to see where the remnants of Insteon end up. Smarthome/Smartlabs basically has nothing left. There's no real estate, there's no goodwill and there's no inventory. The only item left is the patent which apparently expires in 2026. I doubt anyone would invest in something that's going to expire in a few years. We need someone with access to the legal databases to keep an eye on Smarthome's asset(s). Maybe there's a creditor who will end up with the patent and who has no use for it.
  3. When you cleared your java cache did you also check the box to clear applications, this would have deleted the ISY finder from your desktop.
  4. I've been using the Venstar T7900 for years with no issues. It has built in wi-fi and API. Here's the link: https://developer.venstar.com/documentation/
  5. Just did some research. The one-story Industrial property Smarthome / Smartlabs was located in at 16541 Millikan Ave, was sold to developers for $21,000,000 in December 2018. At that same time the developer got approval to demolish the property and replace it with a large multi story residential complex. Not sure if Smarthome was a just tenant or had an equity interest in the property. But it seems the writing on the wall several years ago. Maybe it's time to reach out to them and try to make a deal on the PLM chip. Any idea how much time remains on their patent?
  6. Looks like their whole operation may be shut down. All the 3rd party products they sold on the Smarthome website are either "out of stock" or they refer you to Amazon. I wonder what will become of the Insteon patent. Being that they pretty much ran the company into the ground I would assume its value is minimal. It's certainly a sad state of affairs.
  7. Sure seems that way. I think Michel mentioned a while back that they were trying to sell the Company. Does anyone with installer or developer access to Smartlabs have any updates?
  8. I just tried calling the local phone number listed for the app developer, seems to be disconnected. Their 800 number has a recording saying to email them. I guess everything hit the fan this month.
  9. Here's something interesting. Smartlabs released an app on the Apple store, updated February 2022, to control the (currently unavailable) Nokia product line. Go figure that one out. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/nokia-smart-lighting/id1540152104
  10. The Nokia products are still showing online, with a "mail me when available" https://nokia.smartlabsinc.com/collections/all
  11. Not only is the forum offline but the local phone numbers for both Smartlabs and Smarthome are no longer working. The Smarthome 800 number tells you to contact them via email. Over the last few weeks I've sent them several emails and never received a response. Has anyone received an email response from them?
  12. If you currently have Z-wave then another option is a Z-wave enabled smoke detector. First Alert Z-Wave Smoke Detector & Carbon Monoxide Alarm, Works with Ring Alarm, 2nd Generation - - Amazon.com
  13. Re: Zwave native links Shouldn't these links, for the Aeotec Multisensor 6, appear as controllers rather than responders?
  14. Try doing a factory reset on the Polisy. Make sure you PLM is not plugged in and that your ethernet cable is plugged into the RJ45 port closest to the DB9 connector with the other end plugged into your router. Using the end of a paperclip push it into the hole on the right front of the Polisy and follow the directions below. You'll need a DB9 to ethernet cable in order to interface the PLM with the Polisy. One came with you PLM, if you don't have it then you can buy one on Amazon Factory Reset Press and hold the button till all LEDs start blinking then release. This action resets the credentials, removes all configurations from Polyglot/Polisy, and resets networking.
  15. I'm not familiar with the MS II but is there an option to adjust the voltage that triggers the low battery notification? I use the older motion sensors and the low battery notification has never worked. I wrote a program that monitors the dusk / dawn signal, when that doesn't report I know it's time to replace the battery
  16. Take a look at this troubleshooting tip: INSTEON Random All On Events - Universal Devices, Inc. Wiki (universal-devices.com)
  17. I use the Somfy shades with the Zwave Somfy interface, It works flawlessly with the ISY. Somfy has both hardwired and rechargeable battery options
  18. Your migration shouldn't be an issue. Make sure you have an ISY backup before you migrate. You can always add Zwave to the Polisy later, it's just a matter of buying the Zooz 700 Zwave dongle and plugging it into the USB port
  19. The Polisy requires that you have a PLM if you're using Insteon. There is currently no migration option for Z-wave, so you would have to start from scratch. You should first update your ISY firmware to 5.016C. Read the update notes as you'll most likely have to rebuild some programs and scenes. Your current Z-wave system is irrelevant as you'll need a Zooz 700 series dongle for your Polisy Once you've got a stable ISY then you can migrate to the Polisy. The link below should provide answers to any questions you may have. https://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/164-polisy/
  20. The Z-wave migration option from the ISY to Polisy is not yet available, so you'll have to manually build your Z-wave network from scratch on the Polisy.
  21. After the update did you clear your java cache and its applications, and then download the ISY Launcher?
  22. Take a look at these threads:
  23. Increasing the hold time should correct the program not running.
  24. You're correct. Are you using Momentary or Latching in your I/O Linc to trigger your program? If you're using momentary then the Momentary hold time may be too short to trigger the program. Another possibility is that the wires going into the I/O Linc are not making a good contact, try tightening the screws.
  25. Being that the processor and memory in the Polisy is much faster than the ISY, try increasing your wait times and/or adding waits to see if that makes a difference.
