Yes, that's the exact problem, I just manually ran it and get the compiler issue. So our installation processes needs a way to call the native package manager, but for now we can just call it in the install.sh when necessary.

What about "ISY Portal" in slot 1? Sorry if it was mentioned before, I just got back from traveling today and trying to catch up...

It's not a nodeserver, it's a nodejs program you run on another computer. I worked on integrating it into notification nodeserver but was waiting for new v3 release which is just come out recently but I've not had time to try. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Have you reviewed the wiki where @MWareman documented using pushover? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
Notifications Pushover Network Resources vs Email vs Polyglot?

It doesn't rely on email services and direct connection to pushover service. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -

Notifications Pushover Network Resources vs Email vs Polyglot?

Thanks. Text is as reliable as your providers email to text service, but SMS doesn't require a data connection to your phone so that may be good when you are in area with no data coverage. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
Notifications Pushover Network Resources vs Email vs Polyglot?
Jimbo.Automates replied to Blackbird's topic in ISY994
NR to pushover is fastest and most reliable, but more tedious to setup. Email to pushover is very reliable, but does have more failure possibilities, can be slower, but much easier to setup. Push or Notification nodeservers add another layer of possible failure points... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
There is a python module i looked at when I was considering getting some where I want wireless, but haven't purchased any yet... https://github.com/jeffreydwalter/arlo Could be used to build a Polyglot nodeserver. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

I'm the GH app, go to manage accounts click on the insteon hub and click unlink. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

I had that happen with an older GDO, Genie support was convinced I had a forgotten remote in a drawer somewhere, but that older model had a separate receiver board which I pulled out to prove to them it was a main board issue. They sent me a new board. Drove me crazy for a long time. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

You should look at https://github.com/automicus/PyISY which maintains a connection to the ISY and can monitor and set variables or devices. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Thanks, wasn't sure why secure port would be needed on the LAN. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

I'm new to ELK as well, mine is working except for arming which I haven't investigated yet, but why non secure? Wiki says: 994 PRO Series v3.3.5+: the Secure port number that you configured for the M1XEP (default 2601). Please consult ISY Network Security Guide to configure HTTPS Client Settings to: Protocol: TLS 1.0 (or below) Strength: Medium (or above Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Polyglot v2 handles only sending values that change, with my 13 nodeservera running I see pretty much no delay in updates passed to the ISY. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Anyway to push voice alerts/notifications to Home?

No AVRwmote is not mine. I haven't had time to finish notification nodeserver. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
Hey @bmercier & @Michel Kohanim, This would be awesome to have local control of ISY! https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/07/10/googles-speakers-and-displays-add-local-control-of-smart-home-devices-starting-with-hue-tp-link-more/ https://developers.google.com/actions/smarthome/concepts/local - Jim

I actually do the opposite, I add the default name as "family room ceiling fan" with second name as "ceiling fan" that way when I'm in the family room and say "turn on ceiling fan low" the GH replies "turning on family room ceiling fan low" which I prefer to just it just saying "turning on ceiling fan". Thanks, I'll have to check out Xplornet. HughesNet gen5 was supposed to be great, but it's far from it. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

I use GH at my lake house which has crappy HughesNet satellite internet and it works ok for things that access thru the portal. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

But why not use Polyglot HueEmulator nodeserver to link ISY control to your Harmony? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Could not update settings. Please check your connections.

The portal has been working great except I can't force the sync from portal, just have to ask assistant to sync my devices. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk -
Yes, HueEmulator maps to home control buttons, but you can control on screen under devices. I'm not getting how this allows you to pass other key presses from the remote to the RPi? But if it does that would be interesting. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
