  1. @bmercier Really appreciate you looking into this. One question, when you say "MUST BE THE SAME AS THE ONE GH WAS LINKED TO" you are saying the Portal account email address must be the same as the Google Home user I used to add the account? That's never been the case for me and it's always worked. The reason it ended up this way is I used my personal email for the Portal when I originally created it long ago, but the account I use for Google Home is a shared account that my wife and I both have access to. So, in GH when I link to Universal Devices I use the shared account, but when the authorization for Universal devices comes up, I use my personal account since that's what is used in the portal. This should be remember so it knows how to sync, right? To answer your questions: 1. I've never had this problem before, it just started recently. It was working before, but I've no idea they last time I used it. 2. Yes, the sync does work! I never even looked because I just assumed it didn't work due to the error. - Jim
  2. Wow, this post sure went of the topic... Thanks guys [emoji18][emoji849] Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  3. @larryllix Yes, that one has become broken a lot, @bmercier discussed a fix a long time ago having to do with keeping a device in the list that changed occasionally, which I have done, but that still doesn't seem to fix it. And, it's was never a huge deal because I could sync by saying sync my devices, but now that doesn't work for my either. The point of my post is that nothing works at all so I am can't update any devices. Most of us are very aware that you ignore Google Home
  4. Thanks @asbril, just curious, is your https://my.isy.io login email, the same as the email you use for Google Home? In my case they are different, and always have been, but hopefully it doesn't matter.
  5. No, google never warned me of anything that I saw. I just redid it all a couple months ago because the sync from portal hadn't been working for a long time and none of my other devices have ever shown this issue, it's something specific to UDI implementation.
  6. @bmercier Once again I can not sync devices to my google home's. The button from inside my.isy.io says: Error sending your spokens. Google home API returned: PERMISSION_DENIED The caller does not have permission And when I ask Google to sync my devices: Open the Home app and I can see for sure that this is the account used to add Universal Devices to the Home. I really don't want to unlink and re-link yet again inside the Google Home App since then I have to go put everything back in their rooms which is very tedious and time consuming... I do not use my personal account for any of this, I have one account that I use to manage all devices like Google Home which my wife can also use. - Jim
  7. When you say "tags" are you refering to the wireless tags nodeserver? Should post questions about that in it's thread https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/23724-polglot-v2-cao-wireless-tags-nodeserver/page/15/ But, if your goal is to reduce log entries, then set the Debug Level on WirelessTagsController to warning and log will be very small.
  8. Mine are the same, just the older version. Glad to hear the new 2 node option works. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  9. When going thru the portal username/password are not the same as your ISY, it's the portal email and portal password. But you need to figure out why ISY finder is not seeing your ISY. Try refreshing it? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Use then.UDI Portal to send your webhooks. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Do you have ports open on your router to the ISY? If so, close them and see if that helps. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
  12. There is a camera nodeserver that supports most foscam and amcreat cameras, and I've used network resources as well before I wrote the camera nodeserver which I still use at my lake house, but now have blue Iris at home and have started using that as well. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
  13. There is also a node server for TP-Link devices which includes basic support for their lights. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
  14. Or say, Hey Google sync my devices Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
  15. On my.isy.io, select "My Profile" and change the option to Use all ISYs in account. That was a feature I requested [emoji16] then you can move them to the proper home in the GH app. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
  16. I rarely need to use a text editor currently on my rpi's, I just install samba and netatalk so I can mount it one my windows and apple machines where I can us emacs or atom. Haven't checked if those are available on polisy, if not I'm sure nfs is. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

  18. Did you try the fix from @MWareman above? sudo pkg install npm-6.11.3
  19. Oh ya, Tesla is not python, so I've no idea, sorry.
  20. cd ~polyglot/nodeservers/Tesla ./install.sh
  21. Run the install.sh manually and see what it says.
  22. Yes, that's the exact problem, I just manually ran it and get the compiler issue. So our installation processes needs a way to call the native package manager, but for now we can just call it in the install.sh when necessary.

  24. What about "ISY Portal" in slot 1? Sorry if it was mentioned before, I just got back from traveling today and trying to catch up...
  25. It's not a nodeserver, it's a nodejs program you run on another computer. I worked on integrating it into notification nodeserver but was waiting for new v3 release which is just come out recently but I've not had time to try. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
