Sending Event Log to my external server in realtime
Jimbo.Automates replied to VoiceOfSoftware's topic in UD Portal
Looks like the PyISY doc links are gone, the source is at https://github.com/automicus/PyISYYes, the wiki has links to the docs and the socket interface. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
Sending Event Log to my external server in realtime
Jimbo.Automates replied to VoiceOfSoftware's topic in UD Portal
There is no automatic way to have device changes pushed with rest. You could do that with the network resources, but that would be painful. You can subscribe and get changes thru a socket like PyISY does and others http://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Developers Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
Can Harmony Ultimate Home work without ir isy?
Jimbo.Automates replied to Blackbird's topic in ISY994
For that you would use a hue emulator, like the one in ISYHelper then add it to the Harmony then you can set light level in your watch movie activity. I control lights with my Harmony ultimate this way and directly wi the home control buttons. I know it's complicated, but it is possible [emoji16] Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -

Nice, I'll be curious to hear how this works out for you as you use it more. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk -
Yes, I unlinkded and linked back to my usual portal account and it worked... Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk

Ok, then it must be the link/unlink that fixed it? Because previously I was using the same account. And thanks for checking on room support.

You don't need to change the portal account, just add a user in the portal for the Google account and give it admin privileges. Sent from my Pixel C using Tapatalk

It seems to be a little inconsistent. It worked fine, I edited some devices, then tried again and got an error. I noticed the line: Updating: /api/voice/google/spoke/nodes/sync showed up in the main Portal window for a long time, long enough that I could screen capture it, then I get the same error message. I tried again a few seconds later and it was successful.

My Google Home's are linked to an account for this location since I have two homes, but I log into the portal is using my main account. I just added a login for the on portal for the same google account that the Google Home's are linked to and I got the same error, I then unlinked/linked the Google Home for that account and the "Send Spokens to Google Home" worked. So, as you said. The Google account you use to login to the Portal must be the same google account that the Google Home's are linked to, and it seems like the Google Home must be linked to that account after it's created in the Portal. Thanks for adding this! Now hopefully Room support can be configured in the Portal someday

Go to: my.isy.io - Select tool... - Connectivity -> Google Home In that window there is a "Send spokens to Google Gome" I now get the error: Devices are not available HTTP error 0 Followed by this: Error sending your spokens. Is Google Home linked?"

The button is on the portal, not in the GH app. But, it doesn't work for me. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Hi Benoit, The text popup has a typo, has "Gome" instead of "Home". It doesn't seem to work for me: Error sending your spokens. Is Google Home linked?">

I wouldn't expect a GH mini to hear as well as an echo, but I don't have any minii's yet. But I know that my regular GH heard me better than the echo in the same location. I found that GH to Portal was the same as echo, sometimes very quick, sometimes a few seconds. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
