When you say "tags" are you refering to the wireless tags nodeserver? Should post questions about that in it's thread https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/23724-polglot-v2-cao-wireless-tags-nodeserver/page/15/ But, if your goal is to reduce log entries, then set the Debug Level on WirelessTagsController to warning and log will be very small.

When going thru the portal username/password are not the same as your ISY, it's the portal email and portal password. But you need to figure out why ISY finder is not seeing your ISY. Try refreshing it? Sent from my Pixel 3 XL using Tapatalk

Newbie.. How to control my foscam(s) in ISY
Jimbo.Automates replied to Kemo's topic in New user? Having trouble? Start here
There is a camera nodeserver that supports most foscam and amcreat cameras, and I've used network resources as well before I wrote the camera nodeserver which I still use at my lake house, but now have blue Iris at home and have started using that as well. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
There is also a node server for TP-Link devices which includes basic support for their lights. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Multiple ISY devices on one Google Home account
Jimbo.Automates replied to paf's topic in Google Home
On my.isy.io, select "My Profile" and change the option to Use all ISYs in account. That was a feature I requested [emoji16] then you can move them to the proper home in the GH app. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
I rarely need to use a text editor currently on my rpi's, I just install samba and netatalk so I can mount it one my windows and apple machines where I can us emacs or atom. Haven't checked if those are available on polisy, if not I'm sure nfs is. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Did you try the fix from @MWareman above? sudo pkg install npm-6.11.3
-
Oh ya, Tesla is not python, so I've no idea, sorry.
-
cd ~polyglot/nodeservers/Tesla ./install.sh
-
Run the install.sh manually and see what it says.
-
Yes, that's the exact problem, I just manually ran it and get the compiler issue. So our installation processes needs a way to call the native package manager, but for now we can just call it in the install.sh when necessary.

What about "ISY Portal" in slot 1? Sorry if it was mentioned before, I just got back from traveling today and trying to catch up...
-
It's not a nodeserver, it's a nodejs program you run on another computer. I worked on integrating it into notification nodeserver but was waiting for new v3 release which is just come out recently but I've not had time to try. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk

Notifications Pushover Network Resources vs Email vs Polyglot?
Jimbo.Automates replied to Blackbird's topic in ISY994
Thanks. Text is as reliable as your providers email to text service, but SMS doesn't require a data connection to your phone so that may be good when you are in area with no data coverage. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
Notifications Pushover Network Resources vs Email vs Polyglot?
Jimbo.Automates replied to Blackbird's topic in ISY994
NR to pushover is fastest and most reliable, but more tedious to setup. Email to pushover is very reliable, but does have more failure possibilities, can be slower, but much easier to setup. Push or Notification nodeservers add another layer of possible failure points... Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk -
There is a python module i looked at when I was considering getting some where I want wireless, but haven't purchased any yet... https://github.com/jeffreydwalter/arlo Could be used to build a Polyglot nodeserver. Sent from my Pixel 3 XL with Tapatalk
